There is no real answer to this question but what I have learned of what love is to me and that is the word LOVE itself holds the answer.......
(L)isten: and Validate them by hearing and empathizing.
(O)verlook: their minor character flaws as they will overlook yours.
(V)alue: who they are and what they mean to you.
(E)xpress: how you love them not just with words but with actions.

I do like the poop analogy.
I think that love is something that begins as lust or attraction.
Love has many meanings.
A parent loves their child.
God so loved the world...
You can love tacos or your cat.
There are so many types of 'love'.
It is a desire to be with someone, the love you refer to.
You can't make someone love you more or less.
Love takes work, the love of husband and wife.
Both must work at keeping the love flame alive.
Love is a wonderful thing.
As to how do you know if you're in love;
I can tell you what I felt but as others have said, you'll just know.
I felt the butterflies in my stomach whenever he was near, felt like the fourth of July when we kissed, longed to with him when he was away from me, thought about him all the time.
I know that he is the love of my life.
God brought us together and every day I thank Him for that.

Hun, the only way you will know your in Love is when you get that feeling, Love is sooooo different for everyone! So you may Love someone in such a different way...as one person may Love a sificent other. Love could be about your feelings, or your commitments.
Some signs of Love: You want to be with that person [as in never want them out of your sight ot just want to be with that person for a lifetime]
Their your BETTER Half...like they could be adventorous and you could be homely, but you love that they want to explore. Or they could be very shy and you could be this friendly talkitive person, but you Love that she can be shy because when she does something special you can tell because she doesn't do it often.

Honestly Love is in your own terms...those are my terms on Love and Love goes a long way...its what everyone lust for because don't you want that feeling where someone Loves you and wants to be with you for an eternity? Its that, that keeps us looking for it.

How you know you are in love? When everyting in your body and mind lets you know. words can't describe what love is, it's just what you feel. to your other question it depends on the guy. some guy fall in love with a woman by just having good converstion, with some men it is just sex. just being yourself will make a man fall in love. just be true with no lies.

Honey you can't make your men love you. Hell, you can't even make them take out the trash sometimes. LOL! You'll just know. Whatever your feeling now is possibly just a crush. Don't rush things. If it was meant to be, it will be.

You'll definetly feel it in every part of you body if your in love. And to make men love women...there is no one trick. Just be yourself and they will love you for the way you are. If you go out of your way to make them happy you will be unhappy which will make them unhappy. It's a vicious cycle.

Well, from experience, you always think about the person, if you break up, he/she's always on your mind. And the only thing a woman can do is be honest with her feelings, and hope the guy likes her for her.

You will know when you are in love, love is unconditional, doesn't see others fault. You will not hurt, criticize or make fun of that one that you care, you will support him in all things, please him in all his needs as well he will do to you. You will never walk away from his problems, but will help him solved them. You will cry, smile, make jokes, play with him, and truly desire him. That is how you know is love.

fist of all, You have to just be your self!!!! You will aslo know when you are IN love there is a differnce between love and IN love ^_^ I love yahoo answers but I am not IN love with it. if that makes any since to you.

when you do not have to impress them and can be yourself when you are happy just being in the room with them doing nothing. when they kiss you and you feel secure. my girlfreind will read a book hile i watch t.v and run her fingers along the side of my arm i love that. my g.f also plays with my hair and scratches my back.
