Christians say both.
The reason Pagans say "Blessed be" rather than "Be Blessed" is that they wanted something to sound ancient and so they lifted it from Shakespeare.
April 25, 1616
Burial of William Shakespeare
Shakespeare was buried in the chancel of Holy Trinity Church in Stratford. On his tomb is the warning:
Good friend for Jesus sake forbeare,
To dig the dust enclosed here.
Blessed be the man that spares these stones,
And cursed be he that moves my bones.

Blessings of all sorts have developed in many different ways over the centuries, it was not a trade off or attempt to copy. Also remember that pagans were prayng to trees and the early Christians were concecrating the tree to to show the true path.

What is amusing about that. It's the same thing either way. You have a strange sence of humor.
What I find really interesting is that why sooooo many non believers in God or in his word, who love to scoff and poke fun at Christains, let God, and Christianity haunt them so much. Could it be God knocking at their hearts door? I'd say yes to that!

That's not that strange. The early church used a lot of pagan holidays, rituals, etc. masked by their own saints and holidays in order to promote their religion when it was starting out. It was easier for the church to bring in "pagans" if they were already using the same traditions and what not but simply changed the names or the story slightly ( i.e. the goddess and the virgin mary and immaculate conception) to suit their needs.
