I think it has to do with warmth, love, and little kids splashing in the water! Also, barbeques, cold drinks, and long twilights with fireflies!!

I absolutely love summer as well!!!!!!!!
I love warm days, kids splashing, dogs chasing balls, iced coffee beverages, road trips (not as many with gas prices), days being longer, the beach, horseback riding without having to put a blanket on my horse. BUT, the flies are a bit more abundant in summer and i could do without those!! Summer rocks!!!!!

Summer is my favorite season. Then Spring because of the rain. I like storm season. Call me crazy. Something about the storms just make me in the mood. Sorry, getting off the subject here. Hehe.

The family get togethers are fun, the swimming and rollercoasters are okay, but overall, I prefer spring. In the summer, you get sunburn, it's excruciatingly hot, women sweat their hairstyles out, people get dehydrated, and it's extremely hard to lose a cold. I personally don't see why lots of people think summer is so terrific. But that's not to demean your opinion of Summer. Hey, if you like it, you like it!

I love summer too. I like that it stays light longer. The bbq's and fireworks. I also like carnival/fair food and you can only get that in the summer time too. One of my favorite things to do is go down to the shore and its too cold to do it in the winter time. In the summer you can spend all day and all night on the beach. LOVE IT.

I love summertime because I get to work on my property. For me, nothing beats a 5AM start to cutting down trees and doing weed whacking work.
