Will that be good Karma? Will that "justify"? Will it be "it's better to love, then be loved"?

As it has been said:
BE the change you want to see in the world.

It has been working for me for the past 22 years and, as a stone thrown in a pond, the ripple effect is beautiful. I'm sorry that we all "don't" try it.

Peace and Love

It would be a good start. Positive people attract positive people. Who has never had a miserable day brightened by a friendly word or gesture by a caring person. Directing your positive energy towards a world cause that is important to you can encourage others to do the same. One person can do a lot to change the world if their heart is in it. You may not be able to save the world but you can sure make it a better place to live. Look towards the legacy of John Lennon if you need inspiration. A peace loving man who's simple song " give peace a chance " is sang around the world. The world needs more people like you.

Being peaceful and loving alone may not change the face of the entire world. You may even feel as if it's not worth it because it's not doing any good. However, consider the fact that this world is a very wicked place. If nothing more, you are not adding to the wickedness. Take heart in that.

No. This is a common mistake of the initiate. It is common to think that if we can only "feel" goodness hard enough (if we can only "be peaceful and loving"), then the evils of the world will change.

The point, the intention, is not the rehabilitation of the world, but the rehabilitaiton of you. In the face of inconquerable hatred and evil, can you bring love and peace to that? Can you nurture and grow love and peace in your own spirit knowing that it will not have some glorious worldly triumph like some silly Hollywood movie? This is how you overcome the world: by living beyond it, and in spite of it - not, young fellow, by trying to change it.

Best to you ...

There is no such thing as Karma. It was invented to try to soothe someones conscience. The only way you can truly experience love and peace in this world is to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

I say lead by example. If you want the world to be a
better place, then be the better person and lead the
way.

The worst that can happen is that others do not follow
your example. The best that can happen is that your
actions change someone elses outlook on life.

We are not here to change the world. If you are peaceful and loving it will change your world. That is what you have come to learn.

No, you can not be part of the scenery. If you want peace in the world, you must balance the imbalance of the wrong doers. We must fight the oppressor, and defend the oppressed even if it is only w/ words or our thoughts.

A little at a time yes. As we are peaceful ad loving we motivate others by our example to be the same. This will, eventually, lead to wider-spread peace and love.

It is controversial. But what alternative do you have?If you happen to be a good ,cultured human being you will be peaceful and loving irrespective of its effect on other people.Let us hope it has a positive influence on others also.

Yes, it all starts from within each of us. Hopefully your example will be noticed. If everyone did this, then yes the world would be peaceful.
