A FEW THINGS TO REMEMBER:
The correct way to burn fat and stay healthy is to burn more calories than you consume
You need to make sure you are eating healthy foods while still excercising
If you have a big appetite drink plenty of water so that you will feel full but not consume calories
But you should always eat
If you start to skip meals you will only be more hungry at your next meal and probably eat way too much
Remember, the average persons stomach is as big as a slice of pizza scrunched up into a ball
So you shouldnt be putting more food into your stomach than what fits
Also, it takes aproximately 15-20 minutes for your brain to realize that you are full
so eat slower and you will realize sooner when you are not hungry anymore
ALSO....
i found this artical called "50 Habits of "Naturally Thin" People

I am a personal trainer and I still have days when motivation just isn't there. I have found it helpful to make appointments to meet a friend at the gym so that I would have to back out on them. It's much harder to quit on a friend than to create an excuse for yourself. Find a buddy who will workout with you, even if it's just doing videos at one of your homes. Try some videos or some nature walks. Mix your workouts up so that you're doing lots of different things and won't get bored. Remember that it doesn't have to feel like work. You could enroll in some dance classes, or group fitness classes at a gym. That way when you miss, people will notice and you'll be more inclined to stay committed.

Try to find activities that interest you. For instance, I too despise exercising, and even though I'm not that coordinated, I started taking a belly dance class. It's been nearly two years since I started. I haven't lost any weight, but it's a terrific workout and it's fun. Besides, you get to wear jingly, shiny things!
The important thing is to move... it doesn't matter where, how, or when, as long as you start moving. Tell yourself over and over that as a goddess (and you ARE a goddess) you have the right to move however you please. Give yourself permission to live now and do the things you'd do if you were in better shape.

Eating healthy is not just fat-busting power on it's own you, know!
You have to exercise! Join a sports group or take dance lessons! So, if you want to help yourself, you've got to do the right thing! If you are an adult, or teenage, just go and join a gym fitness center! If you are a kid, join a class or sports team this summer! Get active!

Try to find an activity that gets you moving, but doesn't really feel like exercise. Something you enjoy. You could look into rock climbing, or taking dance or yoga classes, gardening, hiking, playing a team sport (with others who don't like to exercise, just like you), etc.

I have the same problem. I really want to exercise, but rarely do it and always feel badly for not doing it more.
I just keep on thinking of things to motivate me, if a thought passes through my head that doesn't motivate me, I move on to the next thought,,, constantly trying to find reasons to exercise that intice me rather than bore me!

Staying in shape is work and it hurts some times. But its worth it. We all have days that are less motivating then others. You need to find that one trick that snaps our brain out of making an excuse not to work out.
I think the reason many people skip there workouts or don’t work out at all is because it is not a primary part of there life. In order to make sure that you continue to work out on a regular basis, you need to make it a primary part of your life. If you want to get in great shape and stay in shape, you have to be as dedicated to your fitness level as you are to everything else in your life.
Your job is a good example of something that you are dedicated to and you some how manage to never miss work simple because your tired, or you don’t have enough time. Why, because without that job you might be homeless and you may starve to death. That thinking keeps you motivated to go to work every day. So translate that same thinking about your job into your daily exercise routine? Here is what I do to keep me motivated to exercise.
Many people think that there day is over when they finish up at work and I sort of feel the same way. So the solution for me is to think of my workouts like a second job. Just like my first job I strive to never be late and never miss a day of work no matter what. So when I am done with my first job it’s off to my second job. The first job pays the bills and the second job keeps me in shape. So you can still think of your day being over when you’re done with work. Just try to remember that you have two jobs instead of one.
You will also find motivation in the results you will get from working out. Set a goal to go for 3 months. Plan on working out every day. Days missed will be due to circumstance. Its ok to miss days as long as you are getting in 3-4 days in you will see results. Eat right, meaning small meals often through out the day.
Then reward yourself for reaching your goal.
Once you start to see results you should be able to easily find the motivation you need to keep going. It's addicting :)

I took up a fitness class at the community center. It's really fun and I paid for it, so that motivates me to go, and the instructor just tells me what to do. I find that I'm more likely to get a good workout if someone is telling me what and how many to do. Plus it's nice to have someone encourage you.

Stop trying to talk yourself in or out of it. Start light. When you wake up in the morning, or at night, bring your knees up to your chest. Lift your arms over your head. Stretching is a good start. If you are lazy minded, this is a way to start getting in shape. Add a new one each day. Then, eventually you will go Gang Busters.
I lay in bed and practice holding my breath at night. I'm ready for the Tsunami. Yes, I am full of it....

Stop thinking of excercise. Find other, constructive ways of expending effort that you enjoy. For example, you may enjoy training your dog for something specific - say fancy commands or agility training, or you may thoroughly clean out your room or join a local hiking club or even a long round of shopping in a crowded market. No need to think something long term. Think of something you'd want to do at the moment. And keep doing it with different solutions regularly.
The key is to stop thinking of excercise for itself (unless you like it of course) and keep yourself involved with stuff that requires some physical effort.

Walking is the best exercise... keep walking clothes clean and ready, kepp your walking shoes by the door with nice clean cushy socks in them. Everyday put them on. You will feel like walking immediately after. If you have a dog even better.. if not borrow a friends or neighbors dog.
