You can take your laptop on any cruise line. There is nothing special you need to do or pay. However, if you are wanting to use it to get on the internet and things, you have to buy internet access.

You can purchase internet access for the length of your stay and use the computers they have onboard. The rate is very nominal, just be sure to get the length of stay pass, and not per minute rates, you will spend a lot more with the per minute rate. Some cruise lines do offer wireless internet access so you could use your laptop in your room, but that is usually double the cost of using their regular internet.

Most cruise lines allow laptops but you will have to pay a charge to use their internet connection. This is usually quite expensive!

We were on Royal Carribean and it cost $80 or something like that to be able to have it in your room. They did have wireless routers around the ship in different places in addition to a internet cafe. The worse thing for use was taking the laptop throught the ship and airline security. It was a hassle.
