I usually call my unborn child "little one" since its possible that ultrasounds can be wrong.

I'm pro-choice, and feel it's up to the woman to make the decision.
Personally, I've been pregnant twice. From the time I found out I was pregnant, I started calling them the baby, until we chose names, and then we used the names that we were going to use.

I called my unborn child "baby". If I would have known the sex when I was pregnant, I would have called the baby "she" and "her".
Why? Do pro-lifers call their unborn children something different???

Whatever you're comfortable with. "The baby" or by it's chosen name. It's no longer a "fetus" after 28 weeks (by legal standards) so call the baby whatever you may feel comfortable calling them. Sometimes you find you start calling them something that just comes to you naturally. We always went with "the baby".

I've started calling my baby by his name after 4 months where misscarrige are more rarely happening. But do whatever YOU are comfortable with. Have a nice day :)

I still call it a fetus, it's not a baby yet. That's why we celebrate BIRTH days, it's when you became a baby. You're not a person until you're born.
