pro-choice... i feel that it should be your choice what you do with your body and the body of your unborn child. if you have to deal with a comeuppance from the higher power, so be it. but it shouldn't be my business (especially as a MAN) to tell you what to do.

thanks for asking!

When I was younger I was pro-choice. I didn't know God and was only thinking of the woman pregnant. Now that I am a Christian I am Pro-Life. No matter if the child is ill or deformed or not wanted, it is a life with feelings and should have a chance. If it is meant to be taken, God will take it to heaven. If someone doesn't want it, give it up for adoption. They shouldn't have had sex if they weren't prepared for the consequences. They should go through labor for getting pregnant and they might learn by it. If the person is raped, it was a choice God gave you to decide what is right. God will help you trough it. He will not put any more on you then you can bare. He will help you make the decision to keep it or give it up for adoption.

Pro-choice. Even though I think abortion is sometimes morally wrong, that fetuses in the last stages of pregnancy are definitely "alive" and as much "people" (with all the moral status that goes with that) as newborn infants are, and find the idea of very late abortions horrific.

Because... sometimes people need an organ, or some body tissue, or some blood to save their life. But nobody is forced to donate any of that, even if (as in the case of blood) the donation would be very safe, painless and quick, because they are judged to have authority over their own body, even that authority means someone else dies unecessarily. This authority is considered so important, that even a dead person's organs cannot be removed if they didn't give permission when they were alive.

So if even a dead person is considered to have absolute authority over what happens to his or her own body, even at the expense of someone else' life, then I think pregnant women should have that authority over their own body too. Particularly when you consider that pregnancy is much more of a dangerous, painful and restricting ordeal then losing an organ is for a dead person.

I've always had a strong opinion in this matter, and never get to state it... being a man, most people don't really care to hear my opinions on the subject.

That being said, I believe that unborn embryos are in fact living organisms, and should be allowed to live. However, I feel strongly that each individual in this country should be allowed to CHOOSE whether or not they agree with this contention. For that reason, I am indeed Pro-Choice.

There are a lot of arguments on here from religious zealots who say that abortion is killing. This is their belief, and they are entitled to it. However I cannot fathom why these people cannot allow women to decide for themselves whether or not they should get an abortion. Leave the law alone and allow women to choose for themselves. If you feel that abortion is wrong, then don't have one!

Pro-life. I feel that a woman has many contraceptive choices and that if the people having sex do no use any or all of them and get pregnant then they should have a child.

I just truly believe that you can turn any experience into a testimony of Gods greatness.

PRO-CHOICE:We must distinguish between who is pro-life and who is simply pro-birth. So many conservatives, including George Bush, are pro-birth only. After a child is born, he or she is on his own and can expect little support in life from these "so-called" pro-lifers.

Pro-life because even though women do have the right to choose, they have to consider that the embryo will turn into a human being, and they don't have the right to control someone else's life.

PROLIFE!
From the moment the sperm and egg are conjoined and cells are starting to split that soul is born, genetics and dna are carrying traits and characteristics to the unformed embryo.
The gift of pregnancy and childbirth is the most precious perk we as a human race have.
Murder is a sin in the eyes of man and God no matter what you label it.
Prochoice....give me a break ...who chooses for the innocents?

Prolife!! Its not an embryo, its a baby, a human being!
And contrary to what they say that baby does feel it!
He or she screams in agony and the only one that hears
his or her cry is God! What part of Thou Shalt Not Kill,
Is'nt understood? That baby is a human! Think of it
this way, you were once in the same spot as he or she!
May I suggest a book? "Gianna" Aborted...and lived
to tell about it! She lived!!
