Part of Christian heritage and history is that they were thrown to the lions. They wish to be apart of this by claiming that when asked Please proof to me God, or please explain this Bible contradiction, that they are part of some history of being thrown to a lion.

Its like the hippies of today trying to protest. There is no protest organization like it was during vietnam, but some 19 year old kid who thinks heh man stop the war machine thinks he is part of the movement from the 60s, sadly he is not.

It's all about perspective my friend. Not all Christians feel this way or agree with this person. But by someone posting this and claiming a religion, in the eyes of others he creates a bad image for that religion. It is bigotry, mediocracy, prejudice, and ignorance that drives people to post things like that up. Some people can't accept that others have different views and beliefs, views and beliefs that differ from them. Those people want to be the one and only answer to everything, and anything different is wrong in their eyes. I am sure a lot of christians that read that fealt ashamed or insulted that someone would use the christian religion to back up his extremist views. Islamic terrorist post up very anit christian extremist views up all the time, but the fact stands that not all islamic people are like the these terrorist, self proclaimed holy people. One person's feelings do not relfect the feelings of everyone else. Example, I like bananas, does that mean that all humans like bananas? Same concept here, he feels that way, everyone else might not.

Because he is not a true christian? To judge others is not the way. I think that person is confused and scared of that particular religion, notice he only spoke of the one religion? The bible has some questionable things in it too. But he should not judge the beliefs of others. No matter what they believe.

And I am faith-challenged. Don't be sorry for me, does God not ask only that christians be honest and good people? That's what I am, and if that is not good enough for Him, I guess that just makes me a good person and not a good christian.

Noone has the right to judge me or anyone.

Because we are hunted in killed in countries all over the world such as China, Iraq, Iran, Yemen, Indonesia, North Korea, and many other Islamic and communist countries. Christians in America really aren't persecuted. It is the Christians in the rest of the world who are persecuted.

God Bless!

There is a difference between people who have faith in their religion and idiots. Who ever that person is, I think they should really think about the fact that they are in serious need of therapy.

I am not religious and as far as I am concerned one can believe what they want as long as they keep it to themselves. Views like that are only to stir up hatred. We have enough of that. Maybe idiots like that should just be ignored.

Ever occur to you that since it's inception, Islam has been a violent enemy of Judaism and Christianity!! If you have a wolf after your flock you take what ever means to deal with him and let everyone know that a bad creature is out there. Would you prefer to be devoured without warning...

Not all Christians are saints. Jesus came for the sinners, not because the righteous needed saving. We need Jesus because we are sinners so that, by God's grace, we may become freed from our sins and not sin any more. I recommend that you read up on theology, more specifically Catholic theology.

P.S.
I agree with chemical kenny's answer. And there is another place where it is very dangerous to be Christian and that is in India.

Some are different from others, I call them Counterfeit Christians. Although we want our brothers and sisters in Christ to be warned of things to believe and not believe, there are tactful ways of doing so. I have seen posts even more caught up in name calling and stereotyping than this, and it is sad. My job as a Christian is to show love and try to lead others to Christ, not make a bunch of people angry.

I am a christian and it seems to me, that people are frightened, of what is what I need to know. They are afraid of people who think differently, instead of doing their job and loving and accepting everyone (jesus did not care what your religion, he would hang out with anyone and get to know them just because they were a child of God) and people seem not only not to be able to do that, but to not even try to let others think differently. As a Christian, I think that it is their own insecurities that make them act this way. God is love so you would assume they would love everyone of God's creations, but instead do not try to deepen their understanding of the world around us by listening to others, instead they shut others out because they are afraid of someone challenging their own faith. Jesus had challenges, let people challenge, people can think however they want and I will do the same. But that should be respected and revered instead of frightening.

The two most important things Muhammed ever said, are always overlooked, "The spiritual warrior, has no outside enemies"...

and, "The ink of the scholar, is worth more than the blood of a martyr"...
