Organized religion is often about money, power and personal agendas. But if you feel like thats what that church is about then move on to another. The Bible never tells us we have to join a religion, infact, we're not supposed to be sepperated. We shouldnt say "I am a Baptist, I am a Catholic, I am a Lutheran" but "I am a follower of Christ" Paul spoke against sepperation like this. We should all be ONE in Christ.

Not all religions have fallen for the draw of the almighty dollar. I know of at least one who still teaches and preaches of The Almighty Himself and of Jesus Christ's teachings. They receive no gains or personal profit from any of it.

its a sign of a general trend in the world, more individualism, less community (I'd call it communism but people are allergic to the word) but you can do your part by being more tollerant, even of religion because ultimately its up to the individual to make the choices she/he has to make, but hopefully with others in mind

Yes! and that is because Satan is all up in the churches of today. When God is not in your church, then Satan is. When you let spiritualist teachings (New Wave and new translations) into your church, what else can you expect?
