I think you have to be a rabid homophobe, borderline racist, and actually get off when you excitedly say- "They're going to burn in hell!"

A true Christian is one who has accepted Jesus Christ as Savior and acknowledged that He is Lord. If a Christian does bad things it is only because they are human and are still struggling with the old self that is still present within them. God doesn't completely get rid of the old nature, He just puts a new nature within them. Therefore, the struggle begins and sometimes they will do things that are wrong like they used to do, and sometimes they will do things that seem different than what they used to do. However, if all they do is what they want to do and pay no heed to what The Bible says, then they need to rethink their spiritual relationship with God and see if they have really accepted Him or not.

If you mean by 'horrible' that the world and the people of the world hate you (because you are a child of God), then Very Horrible. Why have you been running into those so-called Christians that give us real ones a bad name? (That would be Most Of The 'Christian' World.)

depends on if your a member of the Christian right or a real Christian...hatting people, segrigating people, leaving the homeless and the poor behind, starting wars and killing innocent people are not how you become a Christian. A true Christian will walk Christ's path: basicly everything that those that say they are christian ARNT doing....helping the poor, following the word and not the power of money, and not using Gods name to further themselves.....

All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. That is horrible enough. Christians are saved, by grace through faith, and that not of ourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast.

A true christian just has to admit that he/she is a sinner and ask Jesus to come into his/her heart.

Give it a shot! Horrible is relative, because sin is horrible.

Christians aren't perfect, just forgiven. They are not better than anyone who isn't. Don't let anyone tell you different. If a christian says they are better than someone who isn't, let me know!

Pray to God. Take care.

One thing is true.... You have to be able to spin your facts real good! Being full of sh*t doesn't hurt either!

Their are some really good answers here and then you have the other ones.... The ones that hold empty facts and and biblical quotes! When did everybody in the world become so knowledgeable in deciphering the bible.... Oh yea, they didn't... they simply believe it says what they want it to say! Anything to make them feel better than their neighbor! I say keep smiling, everybody loves a moron!

I am not really sure about this question but "True Christians" believe that Jesus Christ is God Incarnate, died for their sins bodily rose from the dead and ascended back into heaven and then sat down at the right hand of God the Father. I don't quite understand what you mean by horrible, please provide further info.

What do you mean? I suppose you think it is horrible to love thy neighbor as thyself, Do unto others and not like killing innocent babies (Abortion)? I admit some Christians are far fetched, but most are not. And no I am not very religious, just someone with common sense

I've been asking for the objective standard to use to determine who is or isn't, and what Bible verses are literal and which aren't, for decades. All I get are cricket sounds. If there isn't one, then I have to assume that everyone who says they are Christian is one, and all Bible verses are literal or allegorical depending on which Christian has taken the lectern.

This is simply an inappropriate and immature question to ask. But, I believe in free speech, so go ahead and ask it. Good luck getting any sensible, useful answers, and I apologize in advance for anything that my fellow believers may say to you, even though you are clearly trying to inflame their anger anyway.
