I believe with all my heart that yes the world is coming to an end exactly as reported in the bible, but as the bilble says, no one knows the time or season. The bible does tell us to watch the signs of the times. If you are a bible reader you should read Daniel, Isaiah, Revelations, these are just a few of the books that will tell you the condition of the world when it is nearing the end. If you are not a bible reader you should become one, it might interest you to know that so far the bible has been right on the money with all of its prophesies.

The World in a selfish and individual way comes to an ending, for someone every day. This can be in the physical or spiritual ways of life on earth. The Bible says more than the world, will come to an end. It says the world, at some point will cease, to exist. It says be ye ready, to accept the change. It says that you cannot refuse the change. There was a man, spirit of YH God made flesh, who was willing to die,and did so, so you would have somewhere else to exist, that is pleasurable to your spirit. Many call this place Heaven. Of course, there is a entrance fee, your righteousness, according to the Laws of YH God. For those who do not have price of entrance, or the mind to research, the requirements, there is the earning of the right to exist forever, in the unpleasantness of Hell. For those who cannot, reason for any of this, let's hope their Political Minds, with the following of the majority of the inevitable. Just look around you, the world is waring away, in small parts, each and every day.

Yes, it is. We are spiralling down towards that end. According to the history of the Bible, the Earth was totally destroyed by water after it rained for 40 days and forty nights. There is no certain number of days that Noah's Ark floated after that. You can imagine the devastation the world must have seen at that time, compared to the flooding involved in Katrina last year.
Now the Bible says the earth with be destroyed again, but by fire. Stop and think for just a moment what fire would do in a global perspective. There would be no electricity. No drinkable water, little to no direct sunlight, the air would be unbreathable, hot and smokey. Everything that we have can be destroyed by fire of varying temperatures...our pictures, computers, cars, buildings...everything.
Then after the fires have scorched the Earth, because of the sun being blocked, there would be an incredible cold front around the world. No trees to block the wind. Nothing to wrap ourselves in if we had survived and found food, etc.
Just something to think about....

After the death and resurection of Jesus Christ the Bible presents the doctrine of the study of "last things (Eschatology)"; including The Rapture, The Tribulation Period, The Second Coming an dthe Millenial Reign, The Judgement of the Lost, and Eternity.

It is certain that this world will come to an end, as 2 Peter 3:10 makes clear, saying, "But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up." The "Day of the Lord" is a technical term pointing to the special interventions of God in human history for judgement. It ultimately refers to the future time of judgment whereby God judges the wicked on earth and ends this world system in its present form. The OT prophets saw the final Day of the Lord as unequaled darkness and damnation, a day when the Lord would act in a climactic way to vindicate His name, destory His enemies, reveal His glory, establish His kingdom, and destroy the world. It occurs at the time of the tribulation on earth (Revelations 6:17), and again 1,000 years later at the end of th emillennial kingdom before the creation of the new heavens and new earth (Revelations 20:1-21:1). The Day of the Lord will have a surprise arrival, sudden, unexpected, and disastrous to the unprepared. God will incinerate the univers, probably in an atomic reaction that disintegrates all matter as we know it (see v.7,11,12,13). The "elements" are the atomic components into which matter is ultimately divisible, which makeup th ecomposition of all the created matter. Peter means that the atoms, neutrons, protons, and electrons are all going to disintegrate. The whole of the physical, natural, earth in its present form, with its entire universe will be consumed (Isaiah 24:19,20; 34:4).

"But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone. (Matthew 24:36)" We all want a precise time, but this is not for us to know. Christ's emphasis instead is on faithfulness, watchfulness, stewardship, expectancy, and preparedness. These are the lessons He taught in the parables that immediately follow.

As in the days in Noah, we are often preoccupied with the mundane matters of everyday life. We should be concerned with such matters as "the end" of the world, or life, and what is out there when we walk out of this earth. Eternity is forever. Regardless of what we believe, we will go to one of 2 places, heaven or hell. When you die are you 100% certain you'd go to heaven? I'd like to see you in heaven one day. Yes it certainly seems like it.. As I am writing this, a public announcement is being made here about a meeting about how to prevent hemorrhaging dengue fever. It is like the flu but a take off of the ebola virus in Africa that eats you up inside. Anyway there is a meeting today at the public school on how to try and avoid it. It is passed through mosquito's.
This is interesting as any people that are older or weaker die of dengue. We never had this in the US, but here in Mexico it is now common. We always had dengue (like the flu) and it wasn't mortal. The times have changed and all is winding down.
It looks like the predictions about the year 2012 are coming about and with so many problems and predictions the end of the age is near..
The weather is exaggerated, wars everywhere and nukes coming out of our ears.. What future do young people have unless they are going to be with Christ when he returns..
Even the unbeliever knows that this isn't going to continue on like it is.

Of course, the bible says the earth will be consumed by fire. According to science in the next coupla billion years, the sun will expand beyond the earth's orbit and the earth will be consumed by the sun's fire. By then humankind would have hopefully evolved the technology to prevent that or go to some other planet or another solar system.

I believe this system of things is close to the end, yes. But i think the earth will remain here, some will survive and populate it, but many will die due to being unrepentant and not listening to warnings given.
