If you have natural highlights, work them, don't get rid of them!! Once your natural highlights fad or something, then you can, or if you really want to dye your hair, go for it. GOOD LUCK! luv~carly

I agree with the first answer...bring out your natural highlights more and maybe add some really blonde highlights in the front more where it's more noticeable!

Don't dye it, blonde highlights are great. I would try to accentuate the blonde highlights professionally instead of dying one color

Auburn is a great color for brunettes. You can put you highlights back in too.

Cherry red is soooooo pretty! Go red!I would if I could, but my hair is too thick, dark and curly. You, having highlights, would be especially pretty as a redhead.

before you dye it, you should really think about how it will look on you. others will tell you to do certain colors, but if you are light skinned, stay away from dark colors as it will not look right, if you are on the darker side, stay away from the lighter colors as it will not look right either. just use your judgement on what you will look good with.

First you need to bring it to a uniform color, probably red or black and then work on the color that you desire. Consult your colorist.
