yes you can. You can marry anyone at anytime regardless of their age unless they are a minor. All the jiberish about age matters it does not. The only thing that matters is that you love that person and that person loves you. Those are the only two factors you need to worry about. Does he treat you like you are somebody? Is he there for you at all times, no matter the consequence? That is what love is and when you find it only you will know.

The age difference should not be such a big deal if you truly have feeling for this man and are comfortable in your relationship.
At 36yrs. he should be mature enough to know what he wants in life.
Since you have to come on line to get feedback it suggests that you are not too comfortable just yet therefore you should give yourself some more time to get used to the looks and raised eyebrows and to see if you get to the stage where you just don't give two hoots what anyone else thinks.

If you love him and want to marry him, then marry him. If you think you need more time to mourn for your husband, then tell him you want to wait. Even though it's much more acceptable for men to marry younger women (My father is 8 uears oldre thanmy mother), if you love him don't even worry about that.
