On this news report (possibly Fox 5) they showed you how to go online and see the seating codes; example ZUPP or XUPP and those prices would be comparable to coach seats. . .

Funandfancyfr. . . thanks for clearing this up (I wasn't sure about zupp and xupp that's why I was asking). I appreciate your answer but you really need to work on your THERE / THEY'RE, you'll be so much more respected.

Those are called up fares...and it depends on the availability, there mostly always not available. There a little more expensive than your average coach class seat, but way cheaper than your average first class seat. I'm not saying you're wrong, but I've never seen a zupp fare...I've seen a Qup and a Yup fare, but never a Zupp or Xupp. The fare is based on a full coach fare, not your nonrefundable average tickets. So beware, it is still more expensive than what you can get on orbitz or priceline.

You are not crazy. I read something about it a few months ago. Wish I had the info now while I am looking to purchase tickets. Please email me if you come up with the website or info. Thanks and good luck!
