You can only be in love with one and only one person. What you're talking about sounds really complicated.

No. How can what you feel be wrong? Now, it would be wrong to try to maintain a sexual relationship with both. You have to choose which one to whom you will be committed. I know this because I love two men. I've loved one for 18 years, but he is an alcoholic and drug addict who could never committ. I fell in love with my husband 7 years ago and we're so happy - but I maintain an OPEN friendship with the other man, with my husband's knowledge, with the understanding that while I love him, too, my hisband comes first and we can only be friends. That doesn't change the fact that I love him. (He's sober now.) If there was no husband, I'd probably be with the other guy, but I do have a hubby whom I love so much! It is confusing, but you can be mature about it and deal with it.

What you are feeling is never wrong, in my opinion, is if you act on it that can cause a problem. Thinking and doing are seperate things. I have been in love with two people at the same time, but it was mostly a crush and not true love.
Hell, you can love someone and be IN LOVE with someone else.
Now would you go out with two people at the same time? Don`t!

Your keywords to learn more are "polyamorous" or "polyamory".

There are many who believe that it is wonderful to be in love with more than one person. There's a listing in Wikipedia, There are Yahoo groups, Groups on tribe.net and myspace.com

There are a great many more who believe that it is wrong, but most of them have never even heard of the word polyamory, and have been raised to believe that monogamy is the only viable alternative. Most people cannot overcome such programing to realize that there are many other possibilities in the world.

Technically, thats not possible as when one is in love the need to share your whole self with that person is imminent. If you love two people at once then its not possible to give your whole self to either of them. Loving someone requires alot of time, energy, attention to details, honesty, and perseverance. I dont think it would be possible to do all that for two people.

Honestly, it sounds like you just like them both tremendously.

Yes, and it is unfair to them both. How can you say that you are in love with someone and then turn around and share that same type of special love with someone else? That is selfish. Human but selfish. You need to ask yourself if you are really truly in love with both these people or are you in lust? And you need to think about how it would make either of them feel to know that you are sharing something that is supposed to be so special, close to sacred with someone else. How would you feel?

Its fine to be in love with multiple people. However its not ok to be with both of them. You will have a hard time deciding who and what is best for you. You will play them off one another and run to one when the other pisses you off. Bummer for you!

It's not wrong - after all you can't help the way that you feel - but it is unfair on everyone involved and can only lead to hurt. You need to choose.

I dont think you can be "in love" with 2 different people. You may be attracted to each of them and have feelings for each of them.
