The risk placed on the dealer is very high. If the dealer gets caught he gets kicked out and trading priviledges taken away for a year at most auctions.
Be a friend and don't ask.
Most large auctions require you to wear a photo ID with your business name.
You could ask the dealer to buy you a car (one still under factory warranty)with your money and expect to pay $1000 over his costs.

200.00 to 300.00 dollars...........and you won't save any money usually. Besides, dealers send their cars they can't sell to the auction. Look in the auto trader for a few weeks and compare price's. Then pick one to drive and have it tested at one of the test facilities in your area?

i dont know but in canada at a dealer auction i was looking at almost 50% price cut
