I have it. There is no cure, only treatment. I use MetroGel 1% on my face and avoid triggers like alcohol. Many light skinned people age 30-50 get it and it can be mild or quite severe. It's also very misdiagnosed at first because it only appears as flushing at first. As it progresses, it is easier for dermatologists to diagnose it.
There are many herbal and natural remedies people use to help control it. One of them is Burdock in tincture form.

I've had rosacea for 20yrs...with sensitiviy, redness, zits, bumps,
occasional burning...
I've used Metrogel off/on for years, but try to give my face
a rest from the meds...Use mild cleasing products.
Often clears up & stays in remission for weeks/months!
Watch out for hot, spicy foods, hot baths, hot weather ~
in other words, HEAT... Or, extreme COLD and WIND are 'triggers' as well...It's very annoying, even frustrating at times, but could be worse...
Instead of 'counting your ZITS, count your BLESSINGS~
