Talk to the supplier of the lung cancer prescription. Many drug companies have a program so supply prescriptions for free if you are in financial need. Also mention this to your doctor.

I sense, however, this isn't a serious question due to where it was posted.

If it is true, good luck, as this type of cancer is particularly awful. I hope that people currently smoking never have to know the pain and suffering of this disease - if they understood that, we'd have a lot fewer smokers! :o)

I am so sorry to hear about your brother. I do know that there are many organizations that are non profit that can help you. The first one that I would start off with is the Cancer Society. Ask them for suggestions. Another thing is by attending Cancer support groups. all types of info flow amongst the members. Another thought is to go to your local churches and talk to the ministers at these churches. Sometimes they have funds set aside specifically for people who are need. My best friend when she was suffering from Cancer, received financial help from her church. They paid for her groceries and electric and light bill. They, provided transportation to from the doctor. Do not give up hope. Believe that someone is out there to help your brother with finances and it will come true. Have faith!

I hope this story isnt along the lines of the one told from Toronto on another site whereby a "woman" had posted her daughter was sick and asked for advice on what to do. Few days later a "friend" of this "woman" posted that she had talked to her on the phone and that her daughter died. It was a hoax! This person was merely trying to set up some meeting between them and god knows for what reason. If your story is true... sorry to hear it. If not, then get a life. But the story portion was quite short and at the same time you managed to put in a dollar figure. Hmmmm

most all hospitals have a free clinic they just dont tell everyone about it. also you can ask the business office at the hospital for a financial statement. that is what it is called and what that does is the hospital will write it off to charity. i get my patients the help like that everyday. i know how it is

Are you from the USA?..does your brother have health insurance?..anyway here we have social services in the hospitals that assist people who are not financially about to care for themselves (welfare)..if this is the case then have your brother or assist him to call the hospital he attends and they can point him in the right direction..they determine his ability to pay and other financial questions to see how he qualifies

I don't know whether or not you believe in God, but trust me, He works miracles- He can help your brother by simply you putting your faith in Him and asking Him to help your brother. My family will also pray for him. If God so wills it, either your brother will be healed, or you will raise the money in the name of Jesus Christ.
