the twin towers and the other building were the onlyt buildings to collapse from a fire , so should we be in the guiness book of records

All sorts of buildings have collapsed due to fires since ancient times, sorry no record there. Besides who would you give the record to, the guys who knocked them down?

It depends on the specific record you are going for; i.e. natural disaster, fire, number killed, ect. Either way this is one thing I wouldn't want a world record for.

i'm sure that in other countries buildings have collapsed from fire! we probably not the only country.

Except they didn't collapse from a fire, they collapsed because of a controlled demolition.
