I guess it seems that nice is boring and overrated, while annoying, stuck up douches are lots of fun for girls. I don't know how they tolerate them, or even care for them, but girls are always going for these assholes. Why is this so?!!

Good question! I have often asked msyelf the same thing. I think it is because some women enjoy the drama and attention that comes from dating an asshole. Others enjoy the challenge. It makes them feel special that they can put up with so much. I could go on, but there are probably hundreds of reasons. I think maybe girls just need to get a few of these guys out of their system, and they they will be ready for a "boring" nice guy!

first of all, not all girls go for the jerks or jackasses, I being one of them; I love the sweet, caring, nice guys that I know will be there for me and not treat me like crap. The reason most girls go for the jerks or bad boys is because they seem exciting and challenging, or the girls think they can take the guy and mold him into a nice guy, which assuming they do get the guy and attempt to do that, fails and the guy just winds up leaving them for somebody else they can manipulate or take advantage of. But don't feel bad, eventually the girl learns from her mistake and comes crawling back to the nice guy because she realizes she made a mistake...but they'll be gone because some other girl realized what a catch he was and got him...
So don't feel bad, the nice guy doesn't always finish last, sometimes they have the last laugh...

Because usually the assholes are the "bad boys" and there is something thrilling to a girl about being with someone that's always breaking the rules. Girls want the nice guy, too, but they want the nice guy to have that spontaneous edge to him that keeps you guessing what he's going to do next.

Yes....a lot of girls do go for the "bad boy" types....I admit that I found myself doing that when I was younger...but no longer....hopefully the older they get....the more that they will think about long term and realize what's really important to them...I know that's what has happened with me......you start to look for someone who can be your best friend as well as a lover and that's the ultimate plus.......so don't lose hope yet!

we dont always go for the bad guys, but when we do we are lookin for excitement and the thrill, If u can provide that aswell as the security then your a keeper
