Yes n if that person don't pay they WILL come after you for the money and it will ding up your credit if they are making no or late payments! Think long and hard before you ever co-sign no matter WHO it is!

Yeah. The best thing for you to do is make sure they are paying if not you try to pay, so that way you won't have that negative rating on your credit report.

YES......wanna cosign soemthing for me? worse the person you cosign for will have a copy of the agreement with your SSN....a friend of mine did that for his daughter..now she is using his SSN to get credit cards....sent to a PO box...one in his name and one in hers...and is buying up thousands of dollars of goods..and not paying for any of it...commiting fraud (not paying for goods /service)...forgery. (singing his name to documents)...etc. when she gets caught shes going to be doign a min of 10 years, and she is about to get caught...thank goodness...

Most definitely will be on your credit report. I will hurt you if the signer does not keep up with the agrement.
