My sister have waste long hair. She has split ends, (which are hard to prevent) But has semi- thick hair. What she do is mix Garnier Fructis with Finesse. Garnier Fructis has a stronger shampoo because it drenches your hair with moisture, but doesn't help with split ends. Finesse helps with conditioning, and making hair a little more durable. It helps prevent split ends.

Theres actually serum by John Freida and other people called skinny serum. It'll thin out your hair. You might have ugly waves in it because you have it up all the time. I used to live with my hair in a sloppy bun and i got those weird waves to! Frizz could also be used by brushing your hair to much. Comb it when you get out of the shower with a comb NOT A BRUSH and leave it alone. If you need to brush it again try using your fingers.

The only thing I can say is buy a CHI and use a sprtiz before you flat iron your hair and it make it shiny. Trust me I have thick frizzy curly hair and the chi outstands this New Orleans humidty. The CHI is the best.

There are so many products out there for hair just like yours. Paul Mitchell has a skinny serum that you put on your hair after you wash it. Also, anti-frizz serums or gloss drops could be just the trick for your coarse hair.

I guess you dont look like your avatar.
Get it cut shorter and use Dove conditioner or a deeper conditioner. Do not wash it as often, just condition, and DO NOT USE THE BLOWDRYER. Using Frizz-Ease afterwards will also help.
