because it is the day that GOD sanctified and made HOLY he already knew That man would change it that is why the 4th commandment says to remember the sabbath day and keep it HOLY

IN Judaism and other religions such as 7th Day Adventism , Saturday is their Sabbath . It is bibilically the day God rested after he created the heavens and earth .

Christians recognise Sunday as the Sabbath and a Holy Day because it is the Day that Jesus Christ arose from the grave .

It's my understanding that Christians celebrate the Sabbath on Sundays because they are celebrating the day that Christ rose from the dead. That is what they are celebrating, not the day of rest like it was in the old testament.
