If a person really had faith, he wouldn't bother praying. Praying indicates a person believes his God is really stupid.

I Undserstand how you feel. I know sometime we ask God for assistance and it looks as though he is not answeringor helping. What we need to remember is that God is our Father. He is the Creator. Therefore there is no one else we can ask. If God doesnt answer your prayers it does not mean that he is not hearing or dont like you. Probably its because he wants to test your patience. Its like raising children. If you give children every thing they ask for or desire in ther heart then that child will grow up thinking that life is smoothe. Which is not bad but that can cause problems when they become adults and have to go and get things for themselves.I think God still loves you . try knowing him a little more. God Bless.

It may be that you are asking God the wrong questions, or that you don't have faith in God when you ask for things. I would say, try getting to know God, or try forming a relationship of some kind, or try listening and finding out what God wants for you. God may want to give to you, but you may not be ready to receive. Maybe you are resisting and don't realize it. Any way, good luck.

The Bible states clearly "ask and you shall receive" according to the Will of God. A perfect example would be Job. Job was a faithful servant of God. Yet God allowed him to be devastated and desolate by Satan's actions. There was a catch though.
Satan could only affect him for a certain period of time, predetermined by God. Job held his faith, maintained his prayers and did all he could to be closer to God through it all. When God was finished allowing Satan to test Job, God banned Satan from ever being able to affect Job for the rest of eternity, and all that Job had lost was replaced in multiples of 10.
It is an extreme example, but it proves a point. Had Job stopped praying, Satan would have won. It is our way of communicating with our soveriegn God, much like picking up the phone to call your friends or family. They know we love them, but how happy are we to hear their voices!
God wants you to pray, but only the amount you will. It is all about choice, and it is so easy to make the wrong choices.

The bible says you have not because you ask not...and when you ask ..if you ask..and it doesn't happen when you want ..or the way you think it ought to happen...it is not that God has not answered you ...or not done the thing you asked ..but you might have had a different expectation...that is not Gods fault ..
If you ask God anything ..ask him with an open mind and heart that HIS will be done..and that you want Gods purpose in the thing you ask...that way you know He will do the thing for His glory..God bless

Well that is a good question. I've actually questioned my faith in him. But everyday I wake up I realize that is not because I have to it is because God chose to wake me up and to let me walk and see and hear. Yes God has not answer all my prayers yet, but not praying to him would mean that you have given up not only on God, but also yourself. Then if that happens, don't expect for God to answer you then. Keep faith and the best shall come with it.

We should always ask, because He is always there. Our only problem is that we always want things right now. God answers in his timing. Sometimes it seems like His timing doesn't match ours. But there's always a reason for why he either says, Yes, No, or Wait!

When you don't get what you pray for don't take it as a sign that there is no God. The Lord doesn't always give us what we want be he always gives us what we need.

What, exactly, has God disappointed you about? Has he made certain promises to you that have not come to pass?
