Hi, my dad is a baptist preacher, and I sell sex toys for a living. Here's how I can do it w/ a clear consience.

1) There is a myth that the bible only allowed sex for procreation. I debate that whole heartedly, there's an entire book (Psalms) full of love songs and loving your partner as well as 1 Corinthians 13...you know it, the LOVE chapter, right?

2) God designed women with a clitoris. If he only intended us to "produce" then I doubt he would have given woman that "pleasure button". It has no "procreational" purpose, and is there SOLEY for women's physical enjoyment.

3) The only time God was upset about "masterbating" in the bible was when he ordered...ugh, can't remember his name now, but he ordered one guy to get his brother's wife pregnant...do you remember what I'm talking about? He got in trouble for "Spilling his seed". The only reason that was wrong (spilling his seed) was because he was specifically ordered by God to impregnate his brother's wife.

It needs to be a personaly choice between you and your wife. It also needs to keep the marriage bed sacred. Refer to this awesome website I found and see if it helps.

I hope it helps, and when you are ready to buy some sensual products, you may want to start out with one you both will enjoy, like a c-ring that vibrates so you can wear it and you both can enjoy. I hope you'll stop by my site to do your shopping at 25% off (just use discount code: REORDER)

Good luck, and remember to 1) always use lubrication & 2) always use cleanser after each use & 3) Have FUN!!! Congrats on your 5 year marriage, here's to many more!!

I think you're asking a serious question and getting a bunch of crap answers. The relationship between sex and christianity has always been confusing. Some sects used to believe sex was only godly if it resulted in a child. Well, my humble opinion is that God gave us sex as a gift to show our love for our partner and to have fun. If He didn't want it to be pleasurable, he wouldn't have made it so. Sex is supposed to be fun, if toys make it more fun for you, I say go for it. This is not to say that i think anything goes. I think porn is insidious, addictive and exploitative. I don't think it is godly to get pleasure from the pain of others.

I don't think there is anything wrong with married peoples engaging in sex. Toys aside, sex is a gift of pleasure given from God for men and women who are married. Song of Songs is dedicated to the pleasures of sex for married Christians. Enjoy. =)

I don't think you're technically supposed to have sex for fun, right? Just to make the babies? So if you're already being so horrible as to enjoy sex, why not go all the way and get some toys?

What you and your wife do in your own bedroom is no one else's business. We are supposed to "go forth and multiply," but the book of Genesis clearly shows that "it is not good for man to be alone." Your wife is your helpmate and partner, not your slave. If this is how you see each other, then what you do to please each other cannot be a sin; in fact it would be a sin if you withheld pleasure from one another.

If you consider yourself a Christian and it is acceptable to you & your wife then it sounds okay to me...but I'm an atheist.

I should think it is a matter only for the two of you to decide and it ain't nobody's business.

If it troubles your mental state and spiritual relationship with God.. then it is wrong .. and all this you will know through the upright Conscience that we ought to uphold as Christians.. so listen to that Conscientious spirit in you .. that is where God's answer to your question lies.. so good luck ..
