I know it's not really a question, but I just answered a post with a question about a very serious topic, and I am glad to see that all people Christian and otherwise are being supportive of this person. It's nice to see that compassion can exist on both sides of the fence, and my hat goes off to all.

When times are frightening and our world is falling apart, the Lord tells us to calm down. We are to stop spending so much energy on figuring out what to do. He says to be silent, to be still. Remember that he is almighty God, and has everything under control. Part of being still and knowing that he is God is trusting in a good outcome. If God is permitting problems into our lives, he has purpose. And if we trust him through it he will make it all work out for good."We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him,who have been called to him according to his purpose" Romans 8:28

I have seen many people that have come to God when something really bad happens that they do not understand the reason for. Like someone goes to prison and finds God there and because of that, they bring many more to Christ. Or a terrible accident that kills a whole family and because of that many are saved in the Kingdom. Yes, sometimes bad thing do have good consequences, better than we realize.
