I did role-playing with my boyfriend and dressed up like a prostitute and went down to a bar in the Tenderloin district in SF so he could meet me and pick me up there. There were other, real prostitutes around the bar and they got mad at me and called their 'pimp'. My boyfriend's car broke down and he never made it (this was before cell phones). I waited for over an hour, then went outside and the pimp came after me, thinking I was some other pimp's girl trying to cut in on his action. Then a nice guy in a car stopped and asked if I needed help. I jumped in and was so relieved I said, "How can I repay you? Anything you want." - only to find out it was an undercover cop. He arrested me for prostitution. Luckily I was able to get hold of my boyfriend with my one call - he came down and showed them the card I had sent him with the scenario and directions on how to get to the bar, and they laughed their behinds off and let me go.
