It says that C:\windows\installer\cod2.msi reading error adn i can't install it either help please?

during installation, did you copy cod2.msi from CD to your drive ?
try that. meybe cod2.msi is corrupted.... so copying that file again and then uninstall again......

Because you may have lost the uninstaller.
If this is so, then you need to delete the entire folder.
Then click run from the start menu and type in regedit.
In Current user and local machine both, locate the program files and delete the registry entries for the game if they are there.
Viola...you are good to go.

Try going to CONTROL PANEL...ADD/REMOVE. Find call of duty there and remove it. It takes the entire game out.

the same thing happened to me with ghostmaster the game and i found out that when you download it you are permanently keeping it on your computer.

u can manually delete it
delete the folder that your game files is there
