Good question.
It's part of that confusing concept: the trinity. Tri-une means three which are at the same time one. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit are all together one God!
Let's face it. God invented the concept of 3 and he can ignore any rules he wants to, especially when he is not a physical object.
God's Triune nature reflects God's infinite complexity. God is more complex than we can understand. The finite created mind is not greater than the infinite creator.
God's Triune nature also reflects God's relational nature and his self-sufficiency. God by himself is in perfect community while being complete in himself.
Humans are not. Humans are created in the "image of God" which means we relate at a higher level (language) than any other creature. In fact, human beings need relationships. Solitary confinement often sends people insane. So we seek to become a complete unit by uniting with a partner. We survive in community because we are not self-sufficient.
----------------------------------
To sit at The Father’s right hand was to be given the place of power, blessing, honor, preeminence and rulership. Literally the highest place and to share in that throne.
It also fulfills a Messianic prophecy:
Psalm 110:1 YHWH (God's name) said to my Lord, "Sit at My right hand, till I make Your enemies Your footstool."
Hope this helps.

This is one of the many contradictions that non believers try to get believers with. The bible itself is the truth and many things such as God's Name Jehovah has been taken out some or even completely out of many publications of bibles today and replaced with titles lord and god that are capitalized. Psalms 83:18 (NIV) say LORD if you look at KJV it once stated Jehovah but that to has been changed in it's most recent publication. I also have the
New world translation bible and this bible speaks of God's name Jehovah.Take a look at scripture 1Corinthians 11:3 (niv). Also look at john 1:18 I looked in the NIV and it really didn't read like any of the other bible I had so I highly recommend that you try a different publication, Honestly I think the NIV contradicts itself in this scripture in particular. tell me what you think? I have 4 different bible I am referring this information from: Revised standard version, New International version, and the new world translation and the King James version. Jesus was pretty thorough in his teachings he never not once tried to make people believe he was God. People actually walked and talked with Jesus so according to John 1:18 and many other scriptures help you to appreciate and come closer to worshiping our Heavenly Father Jehovah and it is especially good to know because Scripture Luke 4:8.

There are three persons in one God;
1. God the father
2. God the Son
3. God the Holy Spirit
The fact that we have the three persons in one God which is called the Trinity can be found in Matt 28:19, 2nd Cor. 13:14, I Peter 1:1-2. There are other chapters talking about the trinity but I think you will understand these ones better.
So the answer to your question is that God the son is sitting at the right hand of God the father.
I pray God gives you divine understanding.

I had a fantastic answer for you, but then Yahoo! messed up and somehow it got erased. I'll try and summarize.
God is Triune. It's not a word the Bible uses, but the Bible does give very many references to three persons and one God. I like the analogy of the rope with three coils - all three are seperate and distinct entities, but they are one God. Let me know if you can wrap your head around that one, since I'm still having trouble. I believe it, but I don't understand it. For reference: Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14 and 1 Corinthians 8:4)
Jesus is God, but at the same time he is also Man. He became man for us that he would come to this earth and take the blame for all man's sins - past, present and future. Jesus is the "Son of the living God." (Matthew 16:16) and also was "with God in the beginning" (John 1:2). He also said he had "flesh and bones" (Luke 24:39). He got hungry, he was thirsty, he slept and he cried, like humans do. (Matthew 4:2, Mark 4:38, John 11:35, John 19:28)
I know it's hard to understand, and I think it's one of those things that we just have to believe by faith until we're all brought to knowledge when God returns to us (only He knows when). Until that time, remember that he cares for and loves you, forgives your sins, and hopes that one day you'll be with him in heaven! God's blessings.

God is the generic name. Are you a mother? A daughter? A sister? A wife? How can you be all those and still be you? If your family name is Midas, does that mean that you are the only Midas in your household? Do you have a father, a son, or even a mother? How can you sit at the right hand of your father, say Ben Midas, and still be Midas? Same with God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. God is basically the family name, each is God but with a different name for each. Father God, Son God and Holy Spirit God. All are God.

Jesus is God of the Old Testament. Jesus created the world at the direction of God. And Jesus talked to the Prophets in the Old Testament. That is why...
St. John 1:
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
The Word is Jesus Christ... God created the universe in spirit and Jesus was given the task of making it with a physical body.
And each of us are Spiritual Children of God.. come here to earth to receive a Physical body and to be tested.
God is the Father and he has a Physical body
Jesus is the only begotten Son of God... and when he was born he received his body (just like you and I.. except we are not begotten of God)
The Holy Spirit has no body (yet) if he did, then he could not enter into our spirit and talk to us the way he does.. he talks to us for God and Jesus.
God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit have ONE Will... they all do the Will of God.
Jesus was the perfect son... he freely gives his free will to do the will of God.
think about it.. pray about it.. and you will know the truth of it.

According to the Bible he is seated at the right hand of the Father. Jesus isn't God. God is Jesus' Father. They are two different people. The bible also states that together Jesus, God, and the Holy Spirit, are one. (the sign of the cross: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit) They are different, but at the same time are united.

The word GOD is like a family name. God the Father is Yahwee, God the son is Jesus the Christ, and we will be part of the God family with Jesus as our Lord. Catholics teach that we will go to heaven but that is a pagan teaching. It clearly states in the bible that His kingdom will be here on earth. The trinity is also a false pagan teaching. Read your bible. it is the school book of Godly Christianity not something to possess but never study.

If ice is water, how come it floats? Jesus is God in the flesh. People needed a easier way to get to God/heaven, so God became Man in the flesh in order to offer the perfect sacrifice we needed. The Holy Trinity (Father, Son, Holy Ghost) are the same being, just in different states (like matter can be solid, liquid, and gas, kinda like that).

Satan doesn't even believe in the Trinity. Read Matthew Chapter 4.
A lot of things that the church teaches were created by Constantine in the first century to lure pagans to the church. So, alot of pagan practices were adopted by the Catholic church.
And think about it... God does want us to know him. So, if he were a Trinity, wouldn't it have been more prominently shown and explained in the Bible?
P.S. Read this carefully: "John 1: In [the] beginning the Word was, and the Word was with God, and the Word was a god." It DOES NOT SAY the word is God!!!!
