There is only one God, and He is a very jealous God. I think Catholicism crosses the line (no pun intended) by praying to Mary and the saints. Jesus said it quite clearly "No man shall come unto the Father, but by me."
Praying to any other "God" is not only a wasted effort, but it goes unheard.
On the flipside, Satan enjoys when you pray to anyone but the one true God. Satan gets so excited about it that he will mimic "answered prayers" for the short term to keep you fooled...and misdirected.
Get involved with a church that is based on the King James Version of the Bible. Learn about God. Learn about the wonderful things in life only He can offer, and more importantly, what He offers for after this life.

As a peson raised to believe in the One and Only God I could never consider believing in another. Not that I have not learned about other religions, I have. I have found that our Heavenly Father who sent HIs son Jesus Christ down to earth , as a perfect man, to pay the price for our sins is the one and only God that I want to believe in. He has been there for myself and my family through it all and all it takes is believing that Jesus died for our sins ,so we ask for forgiveness through Him accept the forgiveness and try harder not to sin any more. I firmly believe that we have the better end of the deal, considering when Jesus died on the cross he felt every sin of every person who had been and would be on earth. He did this for us to save us from a damnation to hell. Ther are no works that we can do to earn his forgiveness , WE Have To Believe IN Him And Tryy Our Best as Humans to Live For Him. We need to let our light shine that shows other how good He is to us. I Love My LOrd Jesus and HIs and My heavenly Father God.
