The world will end when the Lord Jesus Christ returns to judge those in hell after the 1000 year reign on the earth. Then there will be a new heaven and a new earth. Revelation 20: 11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. Revelation 20: 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. Revelation 20: 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. Revelation 20: 14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. Revelation 20: 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Revelation 21: 1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

You are right. it really depends on who is answering your question , A materialist or a beliver.
But now that science proves the beggining(creation) of the universe, it un doughtly proves the end of times.
As some signs of the end of life has shown up, it looks near that the people will attend a jugment day.
And that jessus will be coming., rises the question : why would be coming ?
The answer is that he would be the greatest leader of humanity at his time.
And that how would the world end itself arises a question why would it end?
here we need to understand why are we here. why has not it ended yet. And the answer is that : the life of this world is a test in which the wrong doers and the righteouse will be examined by.
and we belive that it will not end untile the testing has not finished.it means untile there is one beliver.
And when all are unbelivers, then that day is terrible for them.it is painfull and hot.

I believe that the believers and followers of Christ will be raptured before the end of the world this is known as pretribulation rapture. I am sorry I don't currently have my studies next to me so I can't quote the good book. But those left after the rapture will be the ones who suffer the end of the world, the weeping and gnashing of teeth. The swarms of locusts and great fires. these thing s are reserved for those who don't get raptured. Christ would not want his children to endure this as we endure enough pain and suffering during our time here

Who knows. The last few extinction events on this planet have been somewhat slow, through disruption in the food chain. The extinction event for humans will probably be no different.
Nuclear winter, large asteroid impact, excessive global climate change, change in the suns chemical composition......anything goes. But you can forget about Jesus or the rapture or any or those other bible story's. They are myth sweetheart. Good luck.

I understand your question but it is not for us to know. Why put your energies into questions of tomorrow (a future time) when God has given you this beautiful day today, use it to the best of your ability and enjoy each moment because once lost, it can never be regained. Only God knows the day or the hour and there is no way we as humans can imagine what it will be like. Live this day God has given you and leave the future to Him. There are no other capable hands than His.

If you people don't want to read religious posts, get out of the religious section. What's so hard about that?
As to the question, the final wrath will be something I won't have to deal with, as I believe the rapture will happen right before it. Unfortunately, that means we'd have to get thru the tribulation first, which is gonna be pretty horrible itself.

Michelle it's all written in the bible and my suggestion is that (no harm intended) you read it for yourself because in the end ..many are gonna say here is Christ or there is Christ you..may not know what they are talking about because you have been warned of these things prior...but how you gonna really know unless ...you read it ?? there many things gonna take place..far worse than Hollywood can depict...then again ..they can depict anything ...far worse than the plan of God which makes them liars....but anyway read Matthew 24th chapter...they asked Jesus the same question...God bless

You do understand that its not going to end like that right, You must know that....-rolls eyes- What a sad way of life, running around every day thinking that the second coming is going to happen, You religious people are totally pessimistic you know that...
