I have had so many litters in my house I have lost count. Just keep a watch over them and the mom. They will let YOU know when they are ready for things. Watch the stairs and let em do what they do. It's all natural instint to them. Trust me cause mine are my babies, they will be fine. (If its a tall box they can't crawl/see out of I would move them to a peice of carpet or somewhere else flat within a couple weeks, that way they CAN do what comes natural and explore when ready) GOOD LUCK!

my cat had kittens on June 8Th and they are very active and playful with each other and they keep stretching to try and look out of the top of the box. id take them out once in a while, they would just sit and look around but the mother cat would get kind of angry, she didn't like her kittens being away from her, so i think the best thing is to let her do what shes going to do with them.

when my kittens where born it was about 3 weeks before they could walk, they did have their eyes open in about a week and a half. now they are about 3 months old and they are all over the place, they are litter box trained , and they eat regular cat food at about 6 weeks start with the soft food first and go to the dry food..good luck with the kittens...

Dont pick them up much and don't take them out of the box until they are able to walk on their own and are trying to get out. let their natural abilities tell you when.

let the kittens be..don't let them out yet..even if you take them to another place the mother will gather them again and hid them from you..mother cats are like that..

I would go to About.com and subscribe to their newsletter about cats. Then you can go on their forum and get answers from people who really know about cats.
