I've cried at 3 of the 4 weddings I've been to (the first was when I was 10). And I don't mean I got teary-eyed, I cried! I don't know why, it's just it's such an emotional thing for two people to commit the rest of their lives to each other. It's a big deal to me. But now I want to get married, and I'm afraid I won't be able to say I Do between my sobs..lol

I'm clueless as to why I get so emotional at weddings. I even get all choked up watching The Wedding Story on TLC. I guess it's just because you're so happy for them, and it makes everyone think about their own romantic relationships. If your own is happy, then you cry happy tears. If your own is not quite so happy, then you're also crying because you feel sorry for yourself. So you see, it's complicated. But yes, I get very emotional at weddings. Just not exactly sure why.

I did really well at my wedding. I was a little nervous that morning but once we got to the church, I grew completely calm. I wanted to take everything in and enjoy it, and that's exactly what I did. It was an amazing experience! The ceremony was absolutely beautiful - traditional Greek Orthodox - and the reception was a lot of fun. Everything went the way we planned and hoped for. It was an honor to marry my husband, he is a truly great guy.

This really depends on the family/couple.
I thought for sure when I got married my dad would cry, he is the most emotionally person I have ever seen, but he didn't. He said that I was too happy for him to cry. I was so happy and excited. I wasn't nervous or anything! Congratulations.

When I got married, I was trying so hard to hold back tears that it looked like my face was having spazams (sp?). I was doing alright until i looked at my husband and I saw him looking at me with his bright blue eyes with the biggest smile on his face that I have ever seen. Thats when I lost it. Thankfully, the judge (civil ceremony) messed up and asked "do you take this man as your wife..." and it was a nice tension release. Thank god for that!

it depends who is getting married, I don't usually cry but if I am close to the couple I maybe would, like if it was my brother or something, I really want my brother to meet a lovely girl and get married.
