ya but its an unhealthy way to go about it
A FEW THINGS TO REMEMBER:
The correct way to burn fat and stay healthy is to burn more calories than you consume
You need to make sure you are eating healthy foods while still excercising
If you have a big appetite drink plenty of water so that you will feel full but not consume calories
But you should always eat
If you start to skip meals you will only be more hungry at your next meal and probably eat way too much
Remember, the average persons stomach is as big as a slice of pizza scrunched up into a ball
So you shouldnt be putting more food into your stomach than what fits
Also, it takes aproximately 15-20 minutes for your brain to realize that you are full
so eat slower and you will realize sooner when you are not hungry anymore
ALSO....
i found this artical called "50 Habits of "Naturally Thin" People

You will lose weight up until a certain point and then your metabolism will slow down considerably and then you will probably gain it back. You need to incorporate an exercises program when you are losing weight. Change the types of food you are eating and drink plenty of water. What you need is a lifestyle change if you want to keep the weight off. Eat smaller meals, but more often. This is much healthier then the traditional 3 meals a day. Good Luck.

You will only lose weight by diet alone if you take in slightly less calories than you burn. However, it is not good to take in all your calories in one meal. Also, it is not good to lose a significant amount of weight by diet alone. (your first 5-10 lbs will be water) Healthy diet, plenty of water and exercise is key!
Starving your body for 21 hrs a day (by eating all calories in 1 meal) will force your body into survival mode. Thus, any and all carbohydrates and fats you consume (and you will, it's inavoidable) will be stored as FAT. Thus, you will actually gain weight, plus some, as soon as you resume normal eating habits.
Better idea: Eat 6 small meals high in fiber, daily. Continue drinking lots of water (8, 8oz glasses daily) Continue walking daily, and add a little more distance to your walk each day.

eating once a day is not good for body. Well if you want to lose fat, I suggest that you should drink lots and lots of water and green leafy vegetables of your choice this will make you feel full and will help you to drop appetite and inturn, you'll not only lose weight but also your complexion and your skin would be benifited a lot. I also recommend yoga, aerobics or any exercise you're comfortable with.
GOOD LUCK!

Please do not skip meals! The best way to loose weight is to eat smaller portions than you used to do. Try to start by cutting them in half. Keep drinking the water and walking...those are very good to do even when you're not trying to loose weight.
It would help if you did not eat out at fast food restaurants, but if you must try to pick things lower in trans fat and carbs. What the dressings on your salads also. I never knew croutons were so many calories either (they are part of my favorite part of salads!).
I've found over the years if you go on a "diet" you will fail. What you must do is change your eating habits for life. If you are really craving something just eat a small portion of it. If you deny yourself, eventually you will cave and eat very large amounts of it.
When I go to restaurants, I try to order half orders or else I will request a "to go" carton right away and will put half of my order in there before I even begin to eat.
Good luck with this. It is very hard to do, but so worth it. Again, don't diet, change your eating habits and you can do it!

You should take sprouts instead of artificial vitamins. It is a complete food and can fulfil all requirements. Salads and fruits too are good.
You should drink that much water which will yield pale yellow urine.
Whatever you will eat once divide it by 2 or 3 and eat that much food 2 or 3 times.

Yeah, the key to losing weight is not necessarily eating less, but eating healthier foods and getting plenty of exercise. Fruits and vegetables are your best friends when you are trying to lose weight. Also, another good thing to remember is to just be more physical in general. Take the stairs instead of the elevator, park your car further away from the grocery store to force you to walk longer etc. Patience is key. Good luck!

Don't be crazy!!! You should eat 3 times a day. If you walk each day for half an hour and do some other exercise it should be enough to lose weight.

I think research is showing that eating only one meal a day will do nothing but slow your metabolism. You're better off eating small, healthy meals throughout the day. I think the key to weight loss, then maintenance, is to make a lifestyle change and gradually lose over time. I know I enjoy a quick weight loss, but if I have done nothing to change my eating habits, it will creep back up before I know it. Think lifestyle change, not quick fix.

eat fresh fruits and vegetables, drink lots of water, workout and be fit.eat small meals but do eat as ur body needs food for its everyday activities.good luck.
