I have 3 bathrooms: The Master bath is themed in a serene spa feeling, with live plants. The guest bath/main bath is themed in color and tone to match and compliment the framed art: Metamorphosis (toscano design). The third is a work in process, as it's a small powder room, off my husbands office.

we redid ours a few years ago and added a corner tub. Our theme is southwestern with a modern edge. We went a medium soft rusty color for the walls and put wooden cubes up for holding facecloths and stuff. The best part is the tile. It's a rustic looking medium beige but we put some of those cool longer pieces and created a design to compliment the room. You can get these at Home Depot. Check in the tile section and you'll know better what I'm talking about. A larger mirror and bighter lighting finished off . We still love it.

Yes. My family room is a log cabin theme, so I carried that into the bathroom. I made towel bars out of branches from our woods, bought new faucets that look oldish, and set bear and moose accessories around. I love it.

I am moving into a new house this next month so I am in the process of picking out new decor. I have decided to turn one of my bathrooms into a victorian powder room. I've found some really neat decor at thrift stores!

Pick a theme and have a tile mural created on your wall to coordinate with that theme-- It provides a dramatic low cost focal point.. How about a Tuscan landscape?

Themes are terrible.. I don't get why people do that. a bathroom should be calming..Once you change it, in 3 weeks you might hate it and have to do it again.. Stick with rugs, towels and paint, simple yet elegant

Mine was kind of a sea theme. Sort of. I had a dolphin shower curtain and hooks. A fish bathmat. Blue rug. That was about as far as it went though.

My husband has a golf themed bathroom. We have used old wooden golf clubs as towel racks, etc. It is pretty cool. We also have a pansy bathroom and one that is themed "birds and bees" and has bird houses and bee things.

Look at wall paper border prints for ideas.
I found one that had bath tubs and put it around the top of the walls. I used coordinating paper on the walls. I found a soap dish that looked like a bath tub.

My bathroom is cream colored primarily, and decorated in fern designs on the shower curtain, one of the rugs, and vanity accessories. When I can next get off my lazy bum, I will stamp a white fern border on the cream colored walls.
