If you notice, there is nothing in my question that asks about my avatar picture. Thank you though. May you have a great day and God Bless You.

One of the best unity songs I know is "We Are One in the Spirit" or "They Will Know We are Christians by Our Love." I have sung it at many an ecumenical event, and have adapted the words at times to include nonchristian religions as well.

Another is "Jesu, Jesu" ("Jesu, Jesu, teach us to love the neighbors we have from you.") And another is the old Salvation Army favorite "Brother, Sister, Let Me Serve You."

It's not exactly a game, but we did a disability awareness Saturday for our Jr/Sr high youth. We brought in blindfolds, ear plugs, crutches and wheelchairs and did role play. One that was a big impact was vaseline on sunglasses to simulate cataracts. Students were assigned a disability at random or were assigned to be a helper. We had them do this for an hour while doing simple routine activities to see how a disability changed that experience and then switched roles after about an hour.

To teach about the reality of hunger and privilege, we had a "Hunger Breakfast." Everyone paid a set amount for a ticket ($5 for adults and $2 or $3 for kids as I remember) but the meal you got was not the same.

A round table in the center seated 10% of the people, a few more around them seated about another 20% and the rest had just chairs in a big circle.

As you entered, you drew your assignment. The privileged of the world were represented by the center table. It had fine china and crystal and silver, with live flowers and servers and a bountiful fancy breakfast with fresh fruit, fancy dishes, fresh-squeezed juice, gourmet coffee and tea and servants tending to every desire.

The next ring represented the middle class. They got a simple meal of scrambled eggs and toast and a fruit drink that they had to serve themselves.

The outer circle represented the bulk of the world, those with inadequate food, the ppor and hungry. They had to line up to get a piece of bread or roll and water or plain tea or coffee, no sugar or other additions. They didn;t even have tables.

When all were served and we had a blessing, facts about world hunger were read while we were supposed to eat.

I drew the "privileged" table and we could hardly swallow, seeing all around us doing without while we were indulged. Several of us wept.

After the presentation, more food was brought out and offered to those who had been classified poor or working class and they ate with a new appreciation of what it was to both do without and to resent those who had plenty while they suffered.

Whichever group you fall into, you "get it." Profits were donated to a food pantry.

Heal the world by Michael Jackson. The lyrics are great (but do not care about his life, just listen to the lyrics).
"Heal the world, make it a better place for you and for me and the entire human race..."
They are great to work with young people.

Bon Jovi has great ones too specially from his last 3 cd's but I can't decide the titles. Take a look to his lyrics on the net and decide the best that fit you and your group.

I hope this helps!!!!

Be As by Prozzak

Julie wants to get out of town
She needs to settle down
Move to a place where no one knows her
Lisa just had to get away
Nothing could make her stay
Tired of living under cover

Everybody knows somebody trying to get free

Be as white as you want to
Be as black as you want to
Be as brown as you want to
Don't let anybody stop you

Be as straight as you want to
Be as gay as you want to
You can wait if you want to
We all need something to hold on to

And if there is a way that you and I could both be free
Have a little understanding and we will be

Daniel moved to another school
Alliances can be cruel
When you're alone without nobody

Michael begged Jen to take a stand
And fight for the love they had
But she'd rather deal with being lonely

Everybody's got somebody telling them what to be

[Chorus]

And if there is a way that you and I could both be free
Have a little understanding and we will be

Na na na na na na...
And if there is a way that you and I could both be free
Have a little understanding and we will be

[Chorus]

Be as shy as you want to
Be as loud as you want to
Be as small as you want to
Don't let anybody stop you

Be as thin as you want to
Be as fat as you want to
Be as short as you want to
We all need someone to hold on to
