Some take years, and sometimes, never come in all the way. That is why they remove them sometimes. At first you will have pain though, cause it has to rip through the skin. You will be okay. If it gets infected, you will have to go get them removed, though. I went with them half in and half out, for years, before I finally had them removed.

Depends on the person... I was about 25 when my two wisdom teeth finally came in fully and then Darn It, the other 2 got stuck so I had to have all of them removed!! I could have had just the two removed but insurance only covers it once and to be safe I had all of them removed. You might want to check with your dentist to get Xrays done- they can tell you how much more of your teeth will need to come in and if you should have them removed.

It is different for everyone. Mine still havnt grown in. Did you knwo some people are born without any at all? I only have 2. One is so far down in the jaw it won't come out and cannot be removed. It would require breaking my jaw open.

the other may or may not grow in. I am 25 and havn't seen it yet.

I had one start a few months ago. It's still not completely through. But everyone is different. It also depends if the tooth even has room to completely come in, if it's coming in at the right angle, etc.

They usually don't hurt when they push up except for a little bit...try putting some anbesol on where they're cutting up through the skin. Make sure you talk to your dentist too, to find out if they're impacted (turned sideways while coming up).
