He's talking about his son.

He has a son, and his son's father is his father's son.

The family tree:
The speaker's father -> Speaker -> Speaker's son
"This man (his son)'s father (himself) is my father (speaker's father)'s son (himself)."
So, 'this man' refers to his son.

well it has to be your brother even though you said you have none. because his father is your fathers son. therefore the son of your father so you brother.
either that or you're talking about yourself in third person.
