I think to be a Muslim, you need to believe that the Qur'an is true.
Same, for Christians, they have to believe in the Bible.
For Jews, to believe in the Torah.

u know there is no doubt that Quran is the Book of truth.U cannot take a mistake from it.Quran is the words of god and HE knows everything.There is no meaning of becoming muslim with out believeing in quran.
Remmember Quran is book of god and every muslim all around the world have to believe in it ..otherwise He/She is not a muslim.

there are two things to consider here :
The intent of any religion is for you to be righteous in all that you do - be kind to you family, friends and enemies alike. If you have absorbed this intent of religion into yourself you rise above religion itself. and then even if you are told to be a christian or not wont bother you are you have transcended that labelling...
The bible or any other religion's books are just books with content - if you fail to notice the intent. A worthless heavy book with many pages made by felling trees and artifical ink which poisons nature...

for a human muslim, one should believe that the qur'an is true, because one is given the capacity to think, unless mentally incapable..........basically, all creations are considered muslim,(arabic term meaning one who submits to the will of God) that pertains to all humans, other life forms, planets, etc....it is only the human themselves who prefer to be called otherwise

well as for being Muslim you have to believe in all of the books Jews Bible and Quraan
have to practice Islam in order to be Muslim
and most of what you need to know about Islam you will find in Quraan

Absolutely NOT. You will be beheaded for being an Infidel in the eyes of Allah.
Be agnostic, its safer and you can wear what you like and dont have to prey 5 times a day & will never be expected to detonate yourself in a packed public place.
