A person needs to look seriously into the scriptures to get any kind of grasp on the meaning of the Trinity. The Gospel of John is one of the best places to start. See chapters 14, 15, 16 and 17 of John's Gospel. Another scripture that has helped me is Colossians 2:6-10.
This says that the God Head is fully seen in the person of Jesus Christ and we are complete in Him. It is true that the word " Trinity " is not found in the Bible but anyone who honestly looks into the scriptures would come to the opinion that God is revealed as 3 persons according to the Bible.Of course if you do not accept the Bible as an authoritative document then this is not going to be an acceptable answer. But if a person is sincere in knowing the truth, that person will honestly and completely seek the truth. Many people don't believe that Jesus is God either but Jesus did make this claim about Himself. This is the very reason He was crucified. But God being in control as He surely would be, completed the greatest task ever accomplished by providing a way of access to Him by His sacrificial death . Then He proved what He said was true by conquering death by His resurrection. Accepting these facts as truth and believing that it was necessary for Christ to die and be raised from the dead to redeem us from our rebelious human nature so we can become one of God's children is the single most important thing a person can come to believe and act upon. To place one's faith in Christ's work on the cross, knowing the Father had His plan laid out before we were even born, and that Christ has sent His Spirit into the world to convince us of these facts is all important. This is why the Christian church exists today, because His Spirit is still with us and lives within the person who has come to believe the truth. The kingdom of God is within you. Search your heart to see if the Lord can find any evil way in you. Put your faith in Christ and not your own understanding and God's truth will set you free from the penalty of sin and death. Live for Him and believe as only a child could believe. Don't try to understand everything. You will understand it all when you meet Christ on His throne.

The people who believe in the trinity explain it as God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost. But to me, those three are one and his name is Jesus. Trinity is not in the Bible.

The Father, Son and Holy Spirit are one.
I'll 'try' to Explain.
It's like this: the universe and it's people are one, meaning we are all one in spirit.
We are all joined by agreement through the spirit/soul/
We are also 'one' with God, We speak a thought, and God agrees, so does the universe.
Here's another weird way to explain it.
Take 'Water'
You can freeze it into an ice cube, or you can melt it again, or you can reshape it and refreeze it.
each time is something different.. but it's 'still water'
Same with the trinity. All are one, they may appear different, but yet all the same.

God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit. They all working towards one goal and aim, the salvation of the human race. The Bible say that there is one God. In our finite minds some things of heaven and the divinity of the beings there will not be ours to comprehend until we get there, what is revealed however, is that there is one God, in three.
Trinity:
There is one God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, a unity of three co-eternal Persons. God is immortal, all-powerful, all-knowing, above all, and ever present. He is infinite and beyond human comprehension, yet known through His self-revelation. He is forever worthy of worship, adoration, and service by the whole creation. (Deut. 6:4; Matt. 28:19; 2 Cor. 13:14; Eph. 4:4-6; 1 Peter 1:2; 1 Tim. 1:17; Rev. 14:7.)

The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. Three Titles, One God.
Your Mom for example: She is one person, But she is also a Mother, a Daughter, and probably a Wife if she's married to your Dad. You see, Three Titles; One person.

It is the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, three beings in one.
Just as you are comprised of a body a mind and a spirit but are all one person.

The Father, Son and the Holy Ghost.. The triune nature of God. The best way to explain it that I have heard is this analogy: water, steam, ice: all three water, different forms and functions.
