queen victoria was such an ugly woman that if it hadn't been for the sexual repression of the time, no one would have gotten horney and the english would have died out. the only survivors would be those who escaped to the states and austrailia. i must say, that woman was a dog. the only reason people didn't know was because she wore no leash. she was a curse sent to the english to make their men go limp. people seem to be fascinated with the victorian age, as they call it, but i can't see the facination.
i guess the victorian age did have jack the ripper though.

Well if Victorianism is what leads my husband and I to the greatest joys we share outside of our faith together, we thank you - but we're more inclined to believe that God ordained and blessed our marriage and its union and that is what has made it one of the most joyous relationships we have. And since the flood was sent for the same reasons of vileness, then I really doubt the Victorian era had much to do with it - either that or the flood occurred a whole lot sooner than we think!

I think it is quite true, sex is a lot more open in our society, it really wasn't accepted in Victorian times ( Gays could be hung before that)

So yes, I think sex became a lot more common as religious freedom became more common because people didn't have to follow religious values so could have sex more and so did
