All diets work.
The diet is never the problem when it comes to losing weight or gaining the weight back. It's the person that is doing the diet that's the problem. All diets change your eating habits by either reducing the amount you eat or changing what you eat. You should also combine that with exercise. When people go back to eating "normal" they gain all the weight back. You should NEVER GO back to eating the way you used to eat. The whole point of the diet is to try to give you different, better eating habits.

You have to change your whole eating habit, so it's not really a diet...If you lose weight and then say now I can eat whatever I want, your wrong. You will gain it back and some more. It's a lifestyle change..

Weight watchers worked for me. I totally loved it because I could eat anything nothing was restricted but I did have to think and make choices. Most of it was portion control, and just being concious of what I was eating.

Pretty much you have to stay on the diet for life! Which can get pretty boring. That's why they say you have to change your lifestyle. It's true
