The Holy Trinity :God the Father, Jesus Christ the Savoir and the Holy Ghost. God along with Jesus Christ and were the Holy Ghost were there when the heavens and the earth were being created. Jesus is God in the flesh, who died on the cross for the sins of the world. The Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit is the essence, blessing and love of God which he pours upon all those who love him.

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only,[a] who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14

They can't be and they aren't. The holy spirit is God's active force that he uses to accomplish his purposes. Jesus is God's son. God is his heavenly Father. Jesus had a beginning, God did not. Jesus said there were things that only his Father knew, but he did not know.
Consider these Scriptures also:

1Corinthians 11:3: "But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God."

John 14:28: "Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I."

If God is greater than Jesus, then they cannot be equal.
There are many, many more verses to prove that they are not equal. The trinity is a false doctrine. Satan wants people to be confused about who the Almighty God really is. He has succeeded by way of Christendom. Satan tried to tempt Jesus because he knew that he was the Son of God and as a human man, he could have succumbed to temptation. No one, especially Satan, could ever tempt the one true God and he never would have tried. How thankful we are that Jesus remained faithful and finished the work that his Father sent him to earth to do.

Trinity:
There is one God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, a unity of three co-eternal Persons. God is immortal, all-powerful, all-knowing, above all, and ever present. He is infinite and beyond human comprehension, yet known through His self-revelation. He is forever worthy of worship, adoration, and service by the whole creation. (Deut. 6:4; Matt. 28:19; 2 Cor. 13:14; Eph. 4:4-6; 1 Peter 1:2; 1 Tim. 1:17; Rev. 14:7.)

Father:
God the eternal Father is the Creator, Source, Sustainer, and Sovereign of all creation. He is just and holy, merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness. The qualities and powers exhibited in the Son and the Holy Spirit are also revelations of the Father. (Gen. 1:1; Rev. 4:11; 1 Cor. 15:28; John 3:16; 1 John 4:8; 1 Tim. 1:17; Ex. 34:6, 7; John 14:9.)

Son:
God the eternal Son became incarnate in Jesus Christ. Through Him all things were created, the character of God is revealed, the salvation of humanity is accomplished, and the world is judged. Forever truly God, He became also truly man, Jesus the Christ. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He lived and experienced temptation as a human being, but perfectly exemplified the righteousness and love of God. By His miracles He manifested God's power and was attested as God's promised Messiah. He suffered and died voluntarily on the cross for our sins and in our place, was raised from the dead, and ascended to minister in the heavenly sanctuary in our behalf. He will come again in glory for the final deliverance of His people and the restoration of all things. (John 1:1-3, 14; Col. 1:15-19; John 10:30; 14:9; Rom. 6:23; 2 Cor. 5:17-19; John 5:22; Luke 1:35; Phil. 2:5-11; Heb. 2:9-18; 1 Cor. 15:3, 4; Heb. 8:1, 2; John 14:1-3.)

Holy Spirit:
God the eternal Spirit was active with the Father and the Son in Creation, incarnation, and redemption. He inspired the writers of Scripture. He filled Christ's life with power. He draws and convicts human beings; and those who respond He renews and transforms into the image of God. Sent by the Father and the Son to be always with His children, He extends spiritual gifts to the church, empowers it to bear witness to Christ, and in harmony with the Scriptures leads it into all truth. (Gen. 1:1, 2; Luke 1:35; 4:18; Acts 10:38; 2 Peter 1:21; 2 Cor. 3:18; Eph. 4:11, 12; Acts 1:8; John 14:16-18, 26; 15:26, 27; 16:7-13.)

Look at it like a glass of Chocolate milk. First, you take Milk, (God) and then you add Chocolate syrup, (the Son). You mix it all together and you have Chocolate milk, (The Holy Ghost)

The Father and the Son are 2 Deities separately but 1 Deity together.

The same way a man and wife can be one flesh as stated in Genesis. They are separate beings that agree as one.
God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Ghost will agree more closely than any married couple.

NO WAY!!! The Father, Jehovah, is the ONLY God. Jesus is the SON of God, and bares the family name of God. The Holy Spirit is the spirit of God, of which Jesus shares with His Father.

The best way I know to describe how God can be father, son and holy spirit is this: Water comes in three forms. Solid(ice), Liquid(water), Gas(steam). No matter what form, they're all still water and same is true for God just three forms of the same. Hope it helps. God bless you for your awesome question!

well first off he is god so he can do whatever he wants. He took part of himself and went down to earth to see what it was like for us to live here. to feel some of our temptations and better understand the way we are. He decided that there was no hope for us so then he died on the cross for us. He then sent his spirit the holy ghost to earth to help guide us like our conscious if you will and that is how and why is is three parts

I know....this stuff doesn't make sense even to me.i believe that God/Allah is a the holy bieng Whom i believe in His diety and worship Him.
i think that jesus christ(pbuh)is a prophet from God like moses, mohammad and all the other prophets(peace been upon them).
this thing(trinity) was made up by the christians when christianity reached europe(or the roman empire at that time)where it was mixed and corrupted with the ancient roman religions.
just compare some of the pictures of jesus(as christians believe in)with some of the pictures of ancient roman religions gods and you will see the huge similarity.
just make a search in google or yahoo about what i told you, just to make sure....
Peace and regards.

God is omnipotent, allknowing, allpowerful, all EVERYTHING. God is GOD! And he is and does and was and will be everything, plain and simple. God created heaven and Earth, Jesus is Gods son that came to live an example for us to live by as well as set us free from our sins, and the Holy Spirit is our Helper that came in place of Jesus Earthly death in order to convict, teach, and help us inside of our Heart. Its a great concept, one that I KNOW is real.
