what to paint on her this year. Last years theme was "support our troops" so we painted her camo and dressed my son in camo. The year before we painted a huge American flag on her, the theme was "All American". This year there is no theme, so we need anything patriotic or 4th of July-ish. Any great ideas?

I would say to do an outline picture of the United States and only paint in your state to make it more local. Then use a theme that would be specific to your area. You might also see if any area businesses would want to advertise on your pony and put money back for your son's college fund.

My son and his friend are doing a Lewis and Clark thing and they are having a girl be Pochohontas, because it's easy and I think it's the 200th anniversary of their voyage. Maybe something like that? Have fun!
