What do you all envision when you hear the name Mary-Beth? What kind of girl comes to mind? I'm thinking of naming my daughter that name.

I love it. I plan on naming my daughter Chyrstiona Mary Elizabeth (with-holding last names).
Very sweet, kind and innocent sounding name.

Hey, that's my Mom's name, (well her first name is Mary, middle name is Elizabeth), but they have to call her "Mary Beth" at where she works because there is a lot of women named Mary. It's an alright name, old fashioned :)

No-no. Sorry - I don't mean this in a bad way but it sounds like a name for a horse or someone who plays in "Little House on the Prairie" Rather stick to either Mary or Beth.

Well the Mary Beth I know is quite a southern belle, but with a wild side. She is very polite and has such charm. She loves to ride in her convertible with the top down with her brown curls blowing in the wind. She's kinda shy though. AND her children ARE BEAUTIFUL! Sounds like a name with class to me. A southern name for sure.

I love this name. Great choice. It has the innocence of Mary with the bethiness of Beth, a form of Elizabeth (mother of John the Baptist).

it's a traditional name, and not that common. I like it. Mary-Beth makes me think of a quiet, thoughtful girl, smart and a little artsy-for example she'd like to write poetry, she'd like to read, but is a fun girl. She'd be a great teacher, and good Mom.
