Study: Even with 100 % Condom Use 30% Still Contract Potentially Deadly HPV Virus

By Gudrun Schultz

SEATTLE, Washington, June 27, 2006 (LifeSiteNews.com) - A new study on condom effectiveness in protecting against the cancer-causing human papilloma virus has shown a discrediting 30% failure rate....The study relied on the journals of 82 female university students who kept daily records of their sexual behaviour, and found that 70% of the women, who reported 100% consistent condom use, were virus-free at the end of three years...

“Why isn’t the fact that condoms, even under ideal usage conditions, failed 28.5% of the time the real story here? Who would consider this an acceptable failure rate when dealing with a cancer-causing virus?”

Well, nothing but abstinence is 100% foolproof. The problem is a lot of people don't use them right. Even if you do there is still a chance. That is the only birth control me and my bf have been using for about a year now and I have not gotten pregnant so I guess they are working for us. I just starting the pill too so we will be double protected to be safe (from pregnancy). I know both of us are clean so we don't have to worry about diseases. But like i said there is always a chance so be careful. I would rather wear a condomn then nothing at all.

For some people no it does not work!!!

I know someone who went to see the nurse to get some advice, she told him how to pull the condom over the head and a few months later his girl got pregnant, he went back to the nurse and accused her of giving him the wrong indications.

She ask him what he exacly did and if he did it just as she told him to,
TURNS OUT HE PUT THE CONDOM OVER HIS HEAD (with eyes and ears) INSTEAD OF THE OTHER HEAD!!!!!!

Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!!!!!!!

I hae always believed that condoms work most of the time when they are used, and would not rely on individual study participant's journals as evidence they were worn every time!

Not acceptable but nothing else on the market compares. And considering the # of people who still don't use any protection.
