Not being racist, but it's kind of the same as a chimp. Is it because they are both from africa?

I didn't say africans and chimps are alike, only their hair or fur.

possibly has to do with the climate they are from.
Because of their black skin they are less likely to get skin cancer.
Hispanics have stouter noses to better deal with humidity, Eskimo's have slanted eyes to better deal with protecting their eyes from the freezing winds.
But to buy into these theories you have to believe in evolution.

My grandmother always had a simple story about God baking humans like cookies, however racist, it goes:
When God was making people he forgot to put the yellow skinned asians in the oven, he took the white people out too soon, he burnt the tops of the red skins, left the black people in too long and took the latinos out at just the right time.

I know it is horribly racist but coming from an old lady you cant help but laugh.

Hector that my friend is some funny sh!t! Your grandmother makes a good point though, but you forget, the Hispanic race is very large(like most their women).. j/k! My girls Hispanic and son is a swirl so I can say that! HA HA! Even in the Hispanic culture there are some very dark, almost black skinned people. So I guess god wasn't watching the timer for those Hispanics ...eh!

I am afraid I don't know what this persons talking about. Almost none of my African American friends have silky curly hair. That is unless they are mixed or use some kind of relaxer on it. By genetics most have a coarse feeling hair, again assuming their not mixed or are using a chemical.

By the way how often do you get to feel chimp hair, are you a zoologist, or work in the circus. Damn it I'm going to the local zoo and asking to feel the chimps hair now!!!! They better not refuse either, its in the name of science!

Man, that does sound racist to me. Thats really, really messed up comparing african americans and such people to chimps. That is so wrong to do. This is the kind of crap why there is so much hatred in the world. Why do you even think like that? Have you ever seen an afro hair-do? I have cause I was young in the '70's. It is one of the coolest "doos in the world man. It takes people a long time to get that "ball" perfect and looks really cool. My brother has red hair and he wore his hair in a fro for a long time. That was cool too. We are all different. Live and let live and some things don't need to be questioned in my book.

Did you take your meds today? Im black, white, and puerto rican and I have Nelly Furtado's hair. It isn't board straight and it isn't up in the air. I love my hair. And just to clarify it, I am Canadian, French, American, Puerto Rican, Black,Dutch, Polish, German, British, and last but not least, Scandinavian. I am proud of my background and dont go around asking stupid questions like you. So, until you find out your own species, stay the hell off the internet, because with another stupid a$s question like that, you might give my computer some kind of virus with your stupidity. But I have a question that makes perfect sense: Why and how are normal human beings mutated into such creatures as in yourself? Answer that one smarty. Man,why the hell am I ******' wasting my time?

First of all, we are not black. The term is African American and we have different hair because we are different from everybody in the would. There is nobody that is the same, so we have different things about use that make use unique in everyway, and I happen to like my hair. If you don't like your hair you can change it to any type of hair you want. And if i want straight hair all i have to do is use a flat iron. It's universal!

Oh stop it! Why do other people have straight hair, wavy, and etc. Honey, it is because God made us all. He loves & created diversity in people because He loves variety and nothing more. We are all beautiful in his sight. Mankind turned it into a racial thing, not the Creator! Now to answer your question, black people hair is kinky texture to protect from the sun. Along the with the dark skin tones. But in observation, black people have a wide range of skintones and hair textures. Only race I know that has beautiful wide range of skintones from very dark to very light skintones. Also, black hair can acheive any hairstyle, straight-straight or very kinky and coiled. Black hair is very frail -- but it makes a strong statement!

It's genes, and we all came from Africa originally. The first human remains were found in Africa. As the first people migrated to different parts of the continent, the climate changed them. This is why whites have finer hair and whiter skin, etc.

Africans and people of african descent have curly hair to withstand the geographic climate conditions. Curly hair permits perspiration to freely flow over the face and neck as part of the human internal cooling system. It is also the reason why african people have large nostrils.

Could be but i beleive it's the genes, there could be something different in their genes giving them their hairstyle while since i notice whites seem to have more variety in hair but i've seen also that some hairstyles blacks have and whites have each one can be different-so to answer your question,i beleive there is some difference between our genes(DNA) and their genes(DNA),after all-and to make sure you know i'm not racist-Our DNA is different for every individual so some genes can be the same in some people while they also appear different in other people.
