hmmm i love eye opening questions like this. and if adam and eve are the start of us all and cane and able are their only children then where the f did their wives come from? or is there humans that god didnt create? maybe that means there really is more then one god and this one is soooo jealous that he would rather lie to you then let you know the truth. and im sorry id rather have gods and goddesses that were so sure of themselves that they would never resort to jealous antics. thanks for a wonderful question.

In the Bible it said the 'son's of God saw the daughters of Adam and Eve and saw that they were fair and took them as wives'
Hence we developed a larger gene pool. And yes, there was probably some inbreeding and it is not a totally established fact that inbreeding now and then is harmful. It is only when, as done by some Royal families, where brothers married sisters or cousins all the time from generation to generation that problems, such as Hemophila, became chronic.
When you marry only within your immediate household you can probably expect problems 100 or 200 years down the line.
But an occasional joining of loosely related people who then join with others not realated closely by blood lines, there is no proof of problems
It has been stated scientifically that 30 couples can produce a defect free blood line, although the women would have to mate with more than one of the males to produce enough random factors.

Adam and Eve were the first people to ever live on earth. Their children had to marry one another as there were no one else to marry. Once the world was populated enough they didn't have to marry brothers and sisters. In the end I guess we are all very related but only as distant cousins which isn't considered legal relationship when it comes to marriage.
In the beginning no one had any choice but to inner mix. Once the world was more heavily populated then no longer were marriages with close family members accepted.

Does it really matter? We are all created in God's image, thus I would say that yes we are all brothers and sisters! We all bleed red no matter what color, creed or nationality! I read that we all came from 6 different women, some say no, since Adam and Eve were supposibly the only 2 people in the garden of eden, then we may have all came from their bodies and souls! We had to start somewhere!?

There is good news and bad news in this for you.
Good news is, we are all brothern and we should be able to get along because of someway we are connected by geneology.
No room for hatred, racism or anything of that nature. So you are right, we are connected.
Bad news is there is no Adam or Eve. No Heaven or Hell. It is all a figment of imagination. So, we can explain why we differ so much in our thinking and want to behead people and hate each other so much. Because our difference is so vast..........!!
Those who believe that if they kill themselves in the name of their religion so that they will have 57 virgins waiting for them in Heaven are kidding themselves. Did anybody check with those people to verify that they, in fact, did receive their reward? So, my point is proved - right here and right now.
Stop imagining. Get to reality. Treat everyone with respect and no, we are not blood related. We are not committing incest.

If memory serves me right, when God found that Adam and Eve ate of the forbidden fruit, they were 'stripped' of all God's ways. He then told them that their punishment, for one, would be that from then on they would be governed by man's law, not his. Man's law acknowledges first and second cousins as being close family. Third cousins and on are not recognized as close family, therefore not considered incest. In genology order, we are about 1,000th cousins to Adam and Eve, and to each other.

Misconception...lack of research...holds no come-on sense. Again, please take into consideration that there is a great being creating hundreds of planets, thousands of creatures & plants, and only 2 people? Why would any artist stop at only 2 when they are on a roll of their greatest works? Actually there were many many...all over the world & of different colors to accommodate where they lived...evolution never happens in one place...it happens all over...see???

Actually incest wasn't outlawed by God till about Abraham's time. As far as now, well, it is not considered incest past the second cousin.

Well, yeah...except that didn't Adam and Eve's sons have wives that magically appeared out of nowhere? They didn't marry their sisters.
