homosexuality is in a way a karma effect from past life to this one.

is it a choice to be hetrasexual then if homosexual is a choice?

it makes no sence to me why christians dont understand that being gay is inst a choice but a karma thing from past lives lived.

example of such life karma is "a guy was a wife beater and hated women in his past life will become a women in the next life" that is the truth of it christians and muslims and science even has proven this to be true that homosexuals where born that way

the attack on gays has to do with wanting someone to demonize to attack because they are different. However anyone that attacks gays which is OT stuff should not have sideburns, should not eat ANY shellfish and follow ALL the OT laws. the same goes for those that love to demonize witches. the bible implies both karma and reincarnation but people whould rather not pay attention to any symbolic or deeper meanings instead make up thier own definition of it i.e. born again is now a sect of christianity and not a term for reincarnation.

karma is in the bible TWICE as you reap what you sow and an eye for an eye a tooth for a tooth.

reincarnation is also in the bible as you must be born agian and I knew you before you were born. the thing is most christians whould rather excuse it to mean some brand of fundamentalist christianity.

christians that attack gays are either
1) insecure with themselves
2)having marital problems and want someone to blame
3) too intellecually lazy to think about what they are doing
4) have been bullied in the past and want an outlet to vent

Homosexuality is a birth defect. Not a choice. Just like Autism or Down syndrome is not a choice.

Many Homosexuals don't like to hear this. They say it's not a choice & they where born that way, but dismiss totally that they could be wired differently. So what is it? It's obviously not the way evolution made them...our they wouldn't have any sex organs, or both.

The desire may or may not be a choice. But the actual action is always a choice.

The desires to commit any sin may exist very strongly , even since childhood. But acting upon it or not is always a choice.

You may ask: why would God create a person to have a strong desire and inclination to do something if it is a sin? Answer: We are all given a test / struggle in life.

What about the psychopath who can't help his urge to kill? Is it "right" simply because he was created that way? Or the person who can't help but overeat?

Just because we are created with certain tendencies is NOT PROOF that it is a correct action.

Because first there is no vaild proof to the contrary, although we are starting to find some evidence that free will plays no part in "true" homosexuality, but we are a long way from proving it.

Secondly, people are trained to be prejudice and not think. When you're raised with a strong bias towards black people you have a hard time thinking otherwise.

christians dont believe in karma even though thier bibles say you reap what you sow. to make things worse they say you must be born agian but do not know that the real meaning has nothing to do with some glorified sect of christianity. Before the council of nicea got a hold of it christians did believe in reincarnation until 532 AD when someone decided to throw it out because it undermines church authority.

Homosexuality linked to biological factors: study

Updated Tue. Jun. 27 2006 9:14 AM ET

A new Canadian study suggests a male's sexual orientation is influenced by so-called nature as opposed to nurture.

Researchers at Brock University in St. Catharines, Ont., found evidence that the more biological older brothers a man has, the more likely he is to be homosexual, findings which suggest a man's sexual orientation is genetically determined.

The study says "prenatal mechanism(s) ... affect men's sexual orientation development," which means sexual orientation may be the result of biological processes that occur in the womb.

"What I found in this particular study is that on average gay men have more older brothers, but not just older brothers per se, have more biological older brothers," the study's author, Prof. Anthony F. Bogaert told CTV News.

Bogaert explored the causes behind what is called the fraternal birth order, or the theory that suggests a man's chance of being homosexual increases with each biological brother that precedes him.

"These results support a prenatal origin to sexual orientation development in men and indicate that the fraternal birth-order effect is probably the result of a maternal 'memory' for male gestations or births," Bogaert writes in the study, which will be published this week in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

It has been theorized that the fraternal birth order effect is the consequence of bodily changes stimulated in the uterus when a woman is carrying a boy, which affects subsequent sons.

"This study asks for the evidence that homosexuality already has biological factors that operate prenatally and homosexuality is not a choice, nor something that somebody can be recruited into," said the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health's Head of Clinical Sexology Dr. Ray Blanchard.

Bogaert claims that only the number of biological brothers had an impact on sexuality, whether or not they were raised in the same home.

"The number of biological older brothers, including those not reared with the participant ... increases the probability of homosexuality in men," the study reads.

Bogaert examined more than 900 heterosexual and homosexual men in Canada who had either biological or non-biological brothers.

Bogaert observed the influence of all types of older brothers, including step and adopted siblings, as well as the amount of time brothers spent together while growing up.

Writing a commentary piece that accompanied the study study, professors from Michigan State University said the research disproves the theory that sexuality is learned behaviour.

"It is the number of older biological brothers the mother carried, not the presence of older brothers while growing up, that makes some boys grow up to be gay," write David Puts, Cynthia Jordan and Marc Breedlove.

But Tim Dailey, a senior fellow at the conservative U.S. Center for Marriage and Family Studies disagreed.

"We don't believe that there's any biological basis for homosexuality," Dailey told The Associated Press. "We feel the causes are complex but are deeply rooted in early childhood development."

There have been a number of attempts to establish a physical basis "and in every case the alleged findings have been severely challenged and questioned," he said.

"If it is indeed genetically based it is difficult to see how it could have survived in the gene pool over a period of time," Dailey added.

One University of Toronto professor, who is homosexual himself, expressed fears some parents may take the findings seriously.

"Then you could well imagine parents wanting to screen that out or wanting to terminate pregnancy of a fetus that they think has a chance of being homosexual," said David Rayside, who is a political science professor and the director of the Centre for Sexual Diversity Studies.

Bogaert's study, called Biological versus nonbiological older brothers and men's sexual orientation, will appear Monday in an online version of the PNAS journal.

Homosexuality is a result of absolute rejection of God. Many young people are lied to and recruited while they don't have enough sense to make decisions for themselves. But at some time early in their life they have to choose to stay or go. They choose to reject the conviction of the Holy Spirit-and God then allows them to have their way. Read Romans ch 1, starting at about v 18. Homosexuality is just one of the curses people get for rejecting God.

Woah...
Two totally diffrent ballparks buddy....
Why does a Christian not believe that homosexuality isnt a karma thing? Because we dont believe in reincarnation!

I still say that being gay is a choice. There are guys out there who use to be out-flaming-gay but CHOSE to be straight. Good for him, if it didnt happen, what do I care? Its his butt, not mine.

I agree with you halfway. Homosexuality is not a choice, but it's not from "karma" either -- it's from their genetic code, how they were put together by God. That is why I think homosexuality deserves to be tolerated by all religions.

I didn't choose heterosexual , I just am. I'm pretty sure it works the same way for homosexuals . If you have to choose what gender your attracted to then you have more problems than just being homo or hetero.
You wonder about that but have no problem with reincarnation?
